This is the first fake trailers that I ever saw from Spider Man 3. Good job, I remember when I first saw it four years ago. Its sounds cheesy but it seems like it was yesterday when i first saw this. I thought it was real one time but then I saw the official one and I was very excited for the movie! SM3 wasn't bad, people are just disappointed because of Venom's appearance and his death, etc...

its well made, but there were parts from the mummy and spawn. at the end when the city was covered in sand that was in the mummy desert scene. it might be real, but i doubt it.

This is a prank orchestrated by Raimi (noted for his quirky sense of humor) to promote a film still just over a year from release. Raimi listed stunt doubles as "Fake Shemps" in his earliest films, and here is a film that will have two villains, Sand Man and Venom, who "fake" being things they are not to carry out their goals. I doubt Columbia would allow Spider-Man 3 footage to be used for a film student prank.

Yeah, this video is "fake", alright-- like the way Venom is a "fake" Spider-Man. I think this is a genuine teaser with a dark twist-- it's feeding upon fan madness over rumor and gossip about their fave superhero the way a symbiote feeds off its host's darker emotions.
