Nice review mate.I feel the same it looks ugly(endura is more handsome) but now i need a edc blade and delica4 looks like a great option. Its not very easy to whip out mr.endura4 in public LoL
Good review of this knife. I was just searching for data on the screws so I can move the clip on the new one I just bought. No instruction booklet was included and I didn't see anything on the Sypderco site (with a cursory check) that had a link to a downloadable owners manual. I will look in depth later. For now, this provided the info I needed. Thanks!
Fallkniven in Sweden use VG10 steel but im not sure if they made the blades in sweden or in Seki City. The baldes are not pure VG10 either on the Fallkniven Knives but rather laminted VG10 between 2 layers of 420J steel for lateral strength and corrosioin resistance.
I agree, the first time I saw the Delica I was revolted by the design. Learning more about knives, I grew to love the looks, and fully appreciate the value Spyderco offers. Great review!
Hi, I know this blade isn't designed for bushcraft, but I would really like this knife for EDC and for LIGHT bushcraft use. By that I mean skinning small game, peeling fruit/veg, peeling wood off branches, cutting thin branches off tree's, cutting vines etc... I'm not going to be slicing logs or cutting big branches off tree's. I'd like to know your experience in the forrest.
Awesome HD review of my favorite knife, the Delica 4. After using some other knives I own, when I pick up the Delica it just feels right in my hand. The ergonomics, weight, blade steel and deployment are all outstanding. I also prefer the unique, curvy organic styling that many Spyderco knives have.
Spyderco blades are just too fat and short for me. I just really don't like how they look, and I realize that I won't carry a knife I don't like looking at.

From what I've heard on the forums, the warranty for the Delica and Endura models is NOT voided by opening the knife.
@dragonlaker: it is not hard to sharpen. VG-10 is a breeze to sharpen for me and takes a wicked edge.
@Zastava: you probably have never held a Spyderco, then, because I used to say the same thing until I put one in my hand.

Great knife. S30V is the best stainless steel, IMO.
