seems like this way it would be difficult to clean the sahes from the grill - would it not be smarter to install the fan vent seperately on the side just above the cleaning slits and cover it with a fine mesh steel filter - it would require to drill a hole but the grill would work fine that way ?
I'm certain it would work well with the Smokenator. It has been on my list of things to test, but I have not had the time. When I do, I will post a video of the two working together. -John
