I'm curious and also could use the info, but is it possible to gain a companion as a Tremere or Ventrue due to domination, before Grouts mansion? How will I know the companion mod works right away?

@sweetgumjuicesteph If its working, as soon as you leave your apartment the first time at the beginning of the game, you should see an option to gain the bum who asks you for money as a companion. If you don't have that option, its not working. You should be able to gain pretty much any human without the object from Grout which allows you to gain vampires.

do you know how to work the "pose" system? When I say "It's time to pose my doll" (Or something like that) I can move her but in a video from Dheuster he was able to make them dance and do stuff

@kobra1324: Well, it's been a while since you asked, but if you have the Companion Mod, it's in Aleister Grout's (death)bed, at his mansion.

Sorry for asking so many questions, LAST ONE, promise!- After the fight with Therese and Jeanette, do you ever get another quest from them? If so, I dont want to add them until they're done giving me quests in the game.

@Kyokyo101 No, the quests with them are done. I think another mod is out there that will allow you to get more quests from them, but I've never successfully run another mod with the companion mod. I think the companion mod overrides everything.

How and when do you get Tourette (Jeanette&Therese) as a companion?

@Kyokyo101 You can get them anytime after Grout's Mansion as long as one of them likes you or you have enough persuasion. But its usually pretty easy. I think I've only seen it fail maybe once, and eventually I was able to persuade Jeanette to drink it.

@Kyokyo101 I just realized... would you asking specifically about Tourette? You can get Tourette at the same time... you just have to make the right choices and have a high enough persuasion.

Can companions die?

@Kyokyo101 Yes and no. They can 'die' so to speak, but they'll regenerate at the end of the battle or when you go into the next room, whichever comes first.

Watch the video where I finish searching for Grout. You find the object then. But you have to have the companion mod installed.

Can you play as Jeanette for as long as you want? Because if you can I'd be playin as her through most of the game ^.^

There's like a rule or something... I think it has to deal with your companion's health and if it gets too low you can't possess the character anymore, but I don't remember off the top of my head.

And you're right haha... I do believe I play as Jeanette a good deal of the time.

They did some pretty creative dialog snippits to make Jeanette talk for all that. Some of the audio was obviously from Therese, but it still worked.
