There were talks of spin-offs. Never happened though. They could still do it. A human Spike (Angel signed away the Shan-Shoo prophecy) with a reformed Watcher's Council? Such a show would kick the crap out of anything on the air now.
I loved the character Spike. He was my favourite and James Marsters is just perfect as him. Such a nice guy too. I met him about hmmm, 8 or so years ago and he was really nice (even though I kept doing that annoying giggly thing you do when you're nervous. so embarrassing when I think back). I do remember he told me he was enjoying playing with his band tho and he shook everyone's hand when they went up.

thats why they cancelled Angel?? that is pathetic! poor show got kicked out. I find it funny that they regret it. hahaha
but the whole James aging thing with Spike has only one solution, and that is for Joss to make a Buffy animated movie. Then there really isn't any age issue at all.
No. I don't think any animation would work in terms of Buffy. think of how awful the vomic book is. The thing that makes the story work is the actors. Without their expressions it would be silly. I think it would be fine with the age difference.
