Better suggestions? Well, first off I'd suggest you abandon the idea of all of them being well known "stars". It isn't just about finding people that somewhat resemble the characters, you also should take their ages into consideration... and most of your choices are WAAAAY to old.

Also -- your choice for Ultemecia is horrendous!! Why would you chose a granny to play somebody that obviously looks to be very young?

First, the majority of these aren't well-known stars AT ALL. Most of them are just TV actors, lesser known movie actors, or actors who no longer do big picture deals.

Secondly, anime (JRPGs) makes characters younger for their target audience. In real life, it doesn't look as plausible and you have to age them. Also, it's common for older actors to play younger characters.

Third, Ultimecia's age is actually unknown and irrelevant.

Fourth, matching looks is very important in these lists.

I love how no one noticed how Zac Efron has the same smile and eyes as Irvine. Just because he was in High School Musical doesn't mean he can't be bad ass like Irvine. Good choices all around. The picture that was used for Zac Efron could have been what made him look similar to Irvine but until I see something better, Zac seems the best choice.

@HieiKoi EXACTLY! Thank you. I don't get it either, but I do take the feedback into consideration, so I put him in a different role in the update, taking into account how some considered him "girly."

A lot of the negativity towards Zac Efron seems to be because he was in a Disney musical. (Fun fact: so was Christian Bale! lol) I think Efrom definitely has the right look for it and can easily pull off the role (not exactly a lot of talent required for it).

Anyway I'm glad you like the choices.

@ArcangelParagon An actors should be based off of his past movies but on how well he can do his trade. Efron is very talented and has shown he can star in serious roles so I see no problem with him being an Irvine if there ever was a live action movie. He has the eyes and the hair and he could play the part. People are just....stubborn you could say. I also liked your choices from your other video, though I need to go back and see if you chose anyone for Yuna, she's my all time favorite.
