Thanks for the post. This takes me back to the 1989-1990 season. At the time I lived within 30 minutes of Cleveland, and the local stations would play Browns songs like this. I remember another version of Bernie, Bernie (same group, different lyrics), the Bernie Shuffle (which parodied The Curly Shuffle) and Browns Really Got Desire (parodied We Didn't Start the Fire).

Maybe we couuld of used him in The Drive the following year, but a bad decision by him cost his life. Someday, Cleveland might finally reverse its curse, but it is so painful to see the tragedies, but we can remember the good times of Cleveland sports.
