You See, Cops should understand that when people hear this stuff, they get afraid. And next time you knock on someones door, they just might blow you away rather than risk going to jail.
This is why all of us need to clean out our local communities of these DOMESTIC TERRORISTS who have assumed power. Stephen Slevin was kept in solitary confinement and left to rot for two years because they WANTED to have a man literally rot to death in their jail. They are sadists who are all about power and cannot wait for martial law to be declared so they can do worse to YOU! Either get rid of them through the ballot or you will have to get rid of them with your bullets. We let them do it
No big deal here, much worse things happens every seconds everywhere on this planet, nobody tortured him,he was simply forgotten due to the staff shortage and he would be probably dead long ago if had been "free"on streets! He was also mentally ill and he got help eventually so he was lucky one at the end of the day,too many others once decent folks were not that lucky so stop being such a crybabies over nothing and stop talking that "police state"crap b/c you have no clue what police state is!
Im ashamed of my country on behalf of Stephen Slevin. How can this happen?! 22 million are alot of money, but money cant justify what happened to Stephen Slevin.
@horrorflesh You're so asleep at the wheel, wake up! The U.S. gov't is evil! Fraud wars! Torture! False flag events! Osama bin laden was a CIA asset! Criminals have taken over our gov't and you are clearly shocked at this? What about the Obama NDAA, what do you think will come after that indefinite detention goes into law of Americans???? WAKE THE HELL UP or perish.
"Slevin has support from friends and his sister, Coyte said."
How is it possible for a person with friends and family that care even a tiny bit about you to remain in a jail cell cell for 2 years without a trial? Did they not no where he was?
You can't throw a man into solitary confinement for 2 years and just offer him money as an apology and expect everything to be fine. No amount of material items will ever make up for the damage that has been done.
@euromafiavw Are you kidding? They'll get off scott free at the tax payer's expense. The system protects them 100% even justifying what they did by appealing it!
Out of curiosity I googled the dona ana county jail. They had an interesting take on this case. they are of course trying to make themselves look as professional as possible. Now that might be the case, I don't know. But what troubled me, they felt the need to release his criminal background on the site. I think that was a bit low. They could have said, he does have a criminal record, and leave it at that.
@talltom1973 We all have criminal backgrounds. if you've ever broken a law it makes you a criminal in the eyes of the law convicted or not. You break the law, you're a criminal forever in this system of justice. They feel justified to selectively prosecute anyone they want at anytime.
@talltom1973 They are trying to justify their actions as if they have some right to determine for themselves who should be behind bars without due process. It reveals their thinking. The reason they don't really care what they say about anyone is they can't be sued personally for their criminal actions, the taxpayers absorb it all.
What the fuck is this shit? They forget to mention that the person doing a DWI will get awarded $22 MILLION for being in solitary confinement...like Sante Fe Awarded Stephen Slevin, 58, from New Mexico $22 Million for 2 years in solitary confinement because apparently it was inhumane and infringed on his civil rights.
Shit...Give me $22 Million and I will gladly spend 2 years in Solitary confinement..Just give me a meal a day and a shower a week. I will even throw in another 6 months.WTF!
It would not even have been news if he had not won the court case, To read about current unreported government crimes, search for "New police weapon against homeless" and also "Historic coverup of FBI and police crimes currently taking place". A Masters degree will not protect you from those in power determined to take away your rights.

I wonder how many other people are in the same situation. Arrested and held for years, without trial.

What constitution, you don't have one anymore, haven't you heard?
The National Defense Authorization Act, which since being signed last month give the president permission to detain Americans without charge.

Can someone lock me up for 22 months and forget about me.... £12 million would be well worth it.
And who says crime doesn't pay?

@nnmk001 Only bad part about it is that you will be too mentally fucked up to enjoy your money.

Well today this has become LEGAL to put you in confinement for the rest of your life with NO evidence, No charges and NO reason.
As the USA has been declared by a bill as a battlefield this is going to happen to tens of thousands of people within the next 10-20 years.
And the people seem OBLIVIOUS!
