Smallville was an enjoyable show, but the first couple seasons were really the best ones. I think after he met Lois Lane and got a job at the Daily Planet, it just had too many continuity problems. He's becoming Superman, but doesn't wear the glasses? Everyone will know he's Superman. Tom Welling did an excellent job as Clark, but here's the problem: I hate how every fucking time a new Superman movie is announced, every single person on the planet says "OMG THEY HAVE TO CAST TOM WELLING"

I might sound like a n immature child when i say this but.........smallville........­...well it was more like a soap then about a superhero. Way to many romantic story lines and all villains looked rather.....weak. Deathstroke was laughable  and doomsday was severely underpowered. Though the superheroes were designed well and the voice acting was......good enough. Season 1-3 was all i could take of this rather bland series. More action would have been appreciated Mr. Gough and Mr. Millar

I actually dislike Clarks portrayal over all, he's such a hypocrite. He lies to people constantly, keeps secrets, hides evidence/ alters evidence or situations in his favor uncaring of how others will be effected but then gets offended when people do the same thing to him (ex: Lex) or question him about his actions. This is not the richeous Clark I grew up knowing. He is a separate aberration from the cannon version with 2 faces both ugly and opportunistic.

LOL Lana is definitely terrible. I don't mind Kristin Kreuk as an actress, but I hate Lana. Lois is kick ass... it got so much better in season 8 and on when they focused more on Lois/Clark and Lana left...season 9 was great & the final season will be even better. Though I do miss Michael Rosenbaum :(

As for the Lana dying thing... I'm pretty sure she framed her death right? It wasn't really her in the car it was a fake body, and then Lana ended up in China or something with a fake wig lol

Before I watched Smallville, I never had an opinion on Lana Lang. NOW I HATE HER FUCKING GUTS. This is all because of Smallville's Lana Lang.

I only watched the first few seasons sporadically and was only a regular watcher after Season 8 so it only took that much for me to hate this character's guts. I think I hate Lana the most because she makes Clark Kent, who's supposed to be Superman, so fucking emo and angsty I want to kill him. He's so not super at all with Lana around.

Because that plot line doesn't go anywhere because he will marry Lois. The only part of that plot line worth watching is when they breakup. That is the same problem with the Clark Lana relationship it doesn't go anywhere and is boring to watch

That in the show they never say good bye when they leave.... they always say something like "out of all people I thought you would understand" and walk away... I have only ever heard one Good bye in all of the seasons... oh and lets not forget how many times lana has gotten hit on the head and blacked out while Clark took down the Villain... dumb dumb dumb

you are so true, lana is horrible and so much put of charakter that you really could start crying while chloe would be the perfect lana... it's disturbingly funny. i've only watched the first 2 seasons back in the days and stopped watching until the 5th season started around here. and i really have to say that i'm liking this show more and more. it has still got many things i would make differently, though. chloe is such a great character and fun to watch, she's my favorite besides lex.

Season 8 has 4 eps of Lana, and thats it. It is basically introducing Doomsday, and annoying us all with whether or not Louis and Clark are getting together or not this season. BTW, the comment about the chick who plays Kara...yeah, kind of random.lol
