Haha, it's so funny that everyone is like OH MY GOD YOU'RE GOD, when it comes to your Requiem for a Dream performance, but when you play pieces which are actually real piano pieces, everyone changes and keeps posting criticism ^^

This is piece is really hard. I don't think it was a very good performance, but it's not bad either-- the rhythms aren't right and there are a lot of wrong notes, especially in the 3rd page passages w/ accidentals.But with practice I'm sure it got better and this video is lovely =)

This is not a bad performance at all. He plays some wrong rithms and the phrasing is quite bad but many people play it under tempo and with plenty of mistakes. He shows his left hand ability which is quite good. In 1 month of daily practice, be sure that Pollini will be jealous.

People who say he isn't playing it correctly, just remember this is an étude which means 'study'. Therefore it will take a while to play this completely correctly. I praise you for playing this well just keep going with it and I wish my left hand was as good as yours!

Haha I knew exactly why it isn't quite up to standard, it's cause his finger strength needs to improve, yamaha's, especially grand's, are immensely demanding on a pianists fingers strength. The best way to improve is to really dig your fingers into the bed of keys whilst practicing and it will definately help.

Well I dunno about. I'm not this good. On the other hand you're right, I listenned to this music a couple times, and this interpretation on this video has a lot of mistakes in it. Doesn't mean he's bad... but I don't like people who show off with great musics but bad interpretation. If you can't play it right, play something else.
