I have a Kimber Custom 2. It was on consignment, paid about $650. I've put 400 rds of winchester white box FMJ through it and haven't had a single problem. That's with the factory kimber mag, guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

@videosbymike That's true, but in a post-apocalyptic setting, the band of travelers armed with 30 Mosins is probably going to get themselves six Glocks for the price of a couple of rounds of 7.62x54r. Not that I'm saying that I'd buy a bunch of Mosins just to arm my own band of marauders or anything.
My dad has a Kimber, he has had problems with it. Just can not see spending that much on a handgun. Even if I had the money to blow. Just saying. Seems that could be spent better in my opinion.
I would buy seven Glocks before spending that much money on a pistol...
