ANY engine domestic or import can't run for very long at that stress level. they rebuilt these engines daily usually. at least the professionals who get paid a very large sum of money do. they even have already built and tuned engines ready to drop right in as backup.

@be4unvme yeah, and for the same amount of money, im sure you could build a muscle car that can pull a wheelie all the way down the track, so my question is why would you even bother? the muscle car is made for more power, and speed, the engineers had none of those things inmind when they came out with a civic. i agree its impressive to get a car in general to get a 8 sec run, but why would you even waste the money on a civic? Muscle cars are just made, and designed to do these things.

American car manufactures have to attract the youth. we the kids love these little toy with these 4 bangers. the srt4 and the cobalt arent cutting it. and a honda is way more reliable. theres 4 cyl STREET honda doing low 10's all motor. that is way more impressive than any muscle car out there. a muscle car doing 10's is just boring its done plenty of times and your supposed to hit low numbers. its a big block and rwd

@be4unvme youre ingorant, most muscle cars came with a 350, or similar size engine. not a fucking big block. and all your honda civic's got on style is gass mileage, cuz its stream line. muscle cars look so much faster, and meaner. i just put a stock 305, with a glass pack in my elco, ill put money on it, that ill spin my tires, and preform so so so much better than your stock 4cy will in your lil baby car. theres no replacement for displacement. ive seen street mucle peel at 40mph before

I applaud this guys who put all this time and effort to make a car that fast. Its alot of work to make a honda that quick. But its also alot of work for a mustang, camaro, or GN go that fast as well. So why don't we take a honda, toyota, chevy, and ford running close numbers to pinks all out and see who is left standing. Run what you brung style.

by the time you fully built it its not even a honda motor. at least the 5.0's keep their stock blocks. for the amount of money spent to make it that fast is more then enough to build maybe 1 and 1/2 motors. and 5.0's will always beat this ricey ass raspy shit.

im a performance angine builder an i know its all about how much you wanna spend you put enough into a 4 6 or 8 cyl engine and you can reach almost any hp rating i have seen 1000hp 4cyl on my dyno and 1200hp v6 as daily drivers now i have also seen 2500hp v8's that are streetable
