I've looked everywhere for an HSS floyd rose with a maple neck but I can only find them with rosewood necks, did you have to put it on yourself? Or did you buy it like that, if so, where?
@connor2112 - Fender discontinued the U.S. floyd rose strat around 2003. You'll have to find a used one. The original neck from my strat is maple, and the warmoth you see in this video is flame maple.
Great stuff man, best cover I've seen. About the warmoth pro neck. Is it angled and does it require purchasing the angled floyd rose from warmoth as well? Cheers!
@slash040386 - Thanks! The neck heel is not angled in any way & would fit in a standard strat pocket regardless of the type of trem. The body has an angled pocket, which came that way from the Fender factory. This just makes it easier to dial in the desired string action by adjusting the height of the non-recessed floyd, without having to use shims to add some angle. Warmoth offers an option to angle the neck pocket on their guitar bodies.
hello im getting a new amp either a jcm 800 900 2000 or vox ac 30 i really wanna get a nice brown sound like van halen and tight overdrive like guns n roses , kiss and ozzy ousbourne but i will also need to clean up the sound to get a jimi hendrix or pink floyd tone which amp should i get and those the jcm 800 take pedals well because it has no fx loop thanks give me opinions .
@keanoscarermitano619 - Thanks for your comment. In its current configuration, the guitar is a genuine Floyd Rose Strat Special HSS Fender body (U.S. MFG No. 110-6502), with original electronics & hardware, and a Warmoth pro neck. The original Fender neck is stored away, until I can get it refretted. One day, I will have the guitar completely stock again, but for now the flamed maple Warmoth neck is quite nice. You can see the original neck in my older videos, like ...Brick in the Wall.
@bluestrat67 Ohh. I though it was a copy. My bad bro. And by the way, are you the one who put those Floyds there or you bought it equipped already? Your tone is great man. I bet you're playing through a Marshall?
@defnist47 - Thanks! On this model, the trem is not recessed. It's top mounted, & I have it set up to only go down. The body has a Micro-tilt adjustment screw which can angle the neck away from the neck pocket, so that you can adjust the trem higher above the body to allow pull up. You could also just add a shim in the pocket to do the same thing. You won't get the same range of pull-up as a recessed trem, such as on an Ibanez RG.

@keanoscarermitano619 - No problem, man. It already came with the Floyd from the factory. On this tune, I'm using a JCM 900 combo. -Thanks!

Awesome man, can you tell me if the floyd rose on the strat allows for it to be pulled "up" away from the fretboard or just pushed down?
