The only thing that the this unit does faster than printing is emptying the tiny ink cartridges. And not only that but you cannot use the print feature at all if any one of the 6 ink cartridges is empty. Another thing is that they made the ink cartridges in such a way that you cannot refil them and half to buy new one's all the time. Otherwise the ink cartridges are great!
That wasn't printing, it was copying from the automatic document feeder. It was fast. If you want to compare it to other copiers, I suggest you go to Consumer Reports. I was reviewing my experience with THIS printer (which I still adore 7 months later, BTW).
If you gonna buy an inkjet, buy Epson or Canon, you'll save so much money on the cartridges. On Ebay, you can get like 10+ cartridges for about $18!!! Don't buy any other brands, specially HP. HP is a total rip off, they are giving away the printers for nothing, but rip you off on the ink cartridges. One color ink cartridge from HP cost more than a Samsung laser color toner for CLP-315, but the toner lasts about 5 times longer!!! Avoid HP printers like a plague if you like to save money!
I definitely want the duplexer as well but I have a height restriction. I may have to put this baby on the floor if I buy one because two-sided printing is a priority for me. Anyway, thanks for your feedback and I think I'm sold on which model to get.
There's a complete review on my blog, the url is in the video description. But sometimes when you use something for a while you start to find its flaws - I keep finding more things to like! So I should post a follow-up. I'll try to get to that. I also just spent $30 on the dulplexer, so now I can make two-sided copies, and that works great also.
I should post another video, because I've had it for a couple of months now, and I love it even more! I use the automatic document feeder all the time to scan in stacks of documents. It's really handy.
This is my first, and I'm really happy with it. The weird thing is, I mostly use it without my computer - copying things, printing pictures directly from a memory card, and making coloring book pages for my daughter. Very easy.

The duplexer installs on the back and doesn't add any height, if that helps.
