I went to high school with a girl who was unaware that President Lincoln had been assassinated. I hoped for her sake that she was a time-traveller from 1860 who hadn't yet had the time to catch up on her history (perhaps that is why she persisted in coming to my 10th-grade history class everyday).
that seems. . .dense. though it seems like a story someone else told me once. i'm still a bit surprised when people of a certain age think a tomato is a vegetable. seems like one of those fun facts you learn at 10 or so. but i could be being unfair on that one.
I think a little slack can be given there, just because of their association with salads and such. But yeah, it seems to be one of those things that kids like to tell each other importantly, like "the average person swallows 8 spiders a year" or "it's impossible to lick your own elbow."
I your style, it's like a comic book only with background noise. What programs do you use? I like how the people have been drawn.
"What's a bagel?" lol, that was lovely, and you gave the impression of the girl by what her phone looked like well. The lip on the phone! It was funny!
I like your style.

@ivaanaleeallan hm, sorry i never responded to this comment. i only used imovie to arrange the images and also to record the sound. everything was drawn on notecards
How do you... what? Anyways. Half the people in the comments just aren't ready to admit that they also do not know what a fucking bagel is.

My brother broke up with a girl because she didn't like bacon and made a scene about him eating it.

Wow. That's better than the best reason not to date a girl.
That's probably going to be the 11th commandment, whenever God gets around to it.
"Thou shall not date a girl who does not know what a bagel is"

on the upside, more bagels for us.

I think it's a legitimate reason. I really like how you portrayed her side of the convo. And it seemed like you were watching the news. Smarty pants.
