  • I hear what you're saying with the pressure they're under, but that still is no excuse to act like a friggin mental patient. The video tape would do all his talking for him if it indeed hit the crossbar. Then, the ref would look like an idiot and the goalie could save face for future consideration in the NHL instead of being committed to an insane asylum. Besides, you don't think refs are under any pressure? LOL They probably get more death threats than anyone.

  • I cant tell if hegets a stick on the puck on the 1st, but i dont think he does. I also dont think the puck ever moves backwards/stops forwards progress (also very close). I think the 1st was good. The 2nd one though, by the way the shooter reacted and by Rasks reaction, its obvious the ref fucked up (even though we cant really tell either). I think this is funny, but Rask has to do what he has to do. Goalie's have a ton of pressure on them, and if the ref fucks up, they gotta let everyone know.

  • it feels like im watching slap shot

  • Thats Tuukka Rask isnt it?

  • @Unstoppab1eK1NG its the first words in the description....

  • That ref is a fucking idiot.

"The puck must be kept in motion towards the opponent's goal line." Did not move forward!

The second one went off the post. Don't you fucking mess with Tuukka Rask!

  • @fewtwayfertray ? thats what the ahl is for, he wouldnt do that shit in a B's sweater. good for rask im glad to see him show so much passion.

  • why did he argue about the first goal? isn't the puck allowed to move backwords?

  • @TheTimpa92

not on a shootout, so nah

  • @TheTimpa92 It didnt stay on his stick as it moved backwards

  • I can't blame him for freaking out, refs a total retard. First one was a rebound, which you can't have in a shootout, and the second one is hard to say which crossbar it hit.

  • @hckyroxs Do you know what a rebound is...

  • @FLABREZU Yeah, I know what a rebound is and I also know you can't score on a rebound in a shootout or penalty shot.

  • @hckyroxs You apparently don't know that there was no rebound in the first one.

  • @hckyroxs The first one wasn't a rebound. Tell me exactly when Rask ever touches that puck.

  • @frostbite3789 He pokechecks it at 0:02.

  • @fewtwayfertray Maybe the calls were bad? A blind person could've called better than that ref.

  • what a retard ref..LMFAOO like no jokes...no wonder rask is pissed..

  • UMAD?

  • what a baby

  • That last goal hit the back bar. It happens, Tuukka.

  • Keeper had his back turned on the goal. How in the world could he argue?

  • i love how he fell face first into the boards gets up chucks his stick kicks the door down, throws a milk carton and comes back out to argue. Best part was the ref did get BOTH calls wrong. in a shootout when the goalie touches the puck its a done play. terrible refs

  • RAGE! THIS THREAD IS FULL OF IT

  • here.........have all the stuff in the locker room

  • he mad

  • what a terrible call on that first goal

  • yeah go rask and go bruins

  • Anyone who makes fun of him for this doesn't know what it's like to be a goaltender. The amount of pressure they put on themselves piled with what everyone else expects of them is enormous. Any goaltender who's played awhile has had a few of these freak outs. Seeing that puck cross into the net is like seeing your best friend fucking your girlfriend to us

You love the goalie when he's on his game, but blame him for any goal that gets past him, then make fun of him when he loses it.

  • @ryan332007 Oh shut up you pathetic enabling loser. Look up what it means to have a "victim mentality" - it might save you some grief as you go through life.

  • @claimguy Go eat the crap out of your mother's ass you fucking sailor

  • @ryan332007 Well thank you for proving me right so quickly.

  • @claimguy Fuck you! you don't know shit! I'm not even a goaltender but I know that ryan332007 is right! DON'T TALK SHIT IF YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT!!!

  • @75flash Ahh, but I do know shit. And you, are shit. Thanks for proving it.

  • @ryan332007 haha i loved how you worded it "seeing that puck cross into the net is like seeing your best friend fuck your girlfriend" because its true im a gaolie and ive had a freakout or two and as a goalie u have to be emotionally invested or u will get stepped i wish it was that easy to go alex kovalev and start floating all over the ice and still make millions of dollars but know and even if we could we wouldnt except if your name is hannuu toivenin anyways great comment dude

  • no goal on both

  • why does Boston always pick the cry babies

  • atta be tukka

  • its possible to go like this shooter did in the first one but there is a fine line between a goal and no goal on this one and its a no goal. he definetely comes just a bit backwards.

  • Comment removed

  • You mad, bro?

  • i love the guy when rask slams his stick on the glass

  • Hahahahahahaha Tuuka needs a hug or a fuck. nevertheless looks pretty funny

  • The 1st one was no goal because he stopped his forward progress in motion.

  • Comment removed

  • What a pro.

  • I want to see what happened in the locker room too

  • both goals are perfectly legal he misses the poke check by a slight bit and the attackin player reads it really well and pulls back the puck, looses a bit control regains it and because rask is just laying there cos hes so sure he got it he scores. second gal was also in but bigup to rask anyways for all the passion he seems to have for the sport

  • @phreddy87 as far as i know the puck has to be moving towards the net while the attempt is made and after the poke check it definitely wasn't!

i cant say anything on the 2nd goal, thats too fast, but i think the goalie can hear best where the *ring* comes from ;-)

  • @phreddy87 jesus christ kid, what kind of fucking hockey do you play? He got the poke check, NO DOUBT. Watch the replay on the second goal, you dont see the net jump in the corner or anything, it APPEARS, although none of us can know off a video, that it hit the crossbar and didn't go in.

  • @usmcgunner58 look closely he missed the poke check the player pulls it back and looses control abit so its easy to think the poke check worked but it didnt , therefore good goal

  • @phreddy87 alright, Ill concede that. But the second one was horseshit

  • maybe, my eyes arent good enough to see that, but the poke check i think is quite obvious that he missed

  • @phreddy87 I was under the impression that if you lost control of the puck in a shootout that youre out. Thats what I was taught anyway

  • @usmcgunner58 well ya but he didnt totally loose control he just adjusted to the fact that the poke check came and kinda over did it and i guess "almost" lost control, i dunno im not an expert but im pretty sure that goal was ok, the whole fuss was about that rask though he touched the puck , which he didnt

  • @phreddy87 to me, he looses control. I think this is a discresionary call for refs. I would have said no goal

  • @usmcgunner58 maybe ur right. i guess its one of those calls that sometimes go one way and sometimes go the other way.

  • freeze at 0:08 its in

  • @beaverpitt no its not turn up ur volume

  • What a choir boy! Hahaha

  • what do u mean me slipping is my fault? WTF REF his jedi mind powers made my fall.. HOW CAN U NOT SEE THAT? fuck.. i better throw a milk crate out onto the ice to prove my point.

  • tuukka had every right to do that... 1st shot the skater clearly lost possession and 2nd it hit off the post. it may not have sounded like it but, it just bounced right back before hitting the net.

  • Future Hexall

  • then how the hell did he get on boston????

  • I was at this game...2 bad calls by that ref. 1st goal souldn't have counted cause the skater lost possesion of the puck & 2nd shot clearly hit the cross bar

  • @rich92784

Are you sure the second one hit the cross bar?

I wish they had a replay on that

  • call him a minor league goalie all you want hes going to be best in the game some day

  • @BostonBruinsOWN so true

  • right when you hear the puck hit the crossbar... you pretty much know the referee is shit.

  • Comment removed

  • wait wait wait, was it a goal? I kept rewinding it to find out and it looks like it went in...but does anyone have a slo-mo version?

  • Rask has a right to be pissed. The ref was such a tard

  • haha look where he is now

  • TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow dumbest refs ever are you kidding me

  • hahaha tukkk

  • Those refs...DAMN

  • That first penalty shot went on forever.

  • haha! I would haved done the same thing.

  • Any refs that have anything to do with Carolina are dumb cheaters that want their CAROLINEE to win... its been seen many times. Rask did a poke-check and then the Albany player rebounded it in! Which was cheating. Then the next goal was scored obviously, but Rask lost the game because of the STUPID CHEATING CAROLINA-RELATED REFEREES!!!

  • id be pretty pissed too if we had refs that were that high

  • you could hear the puck hit the post!!! goddamn refs.

  • GO BRIUNS!!

  • AHL referees = wooden eyes

  • kinda crazy how hes playing in the nhl now even after this shit happened...hes a damn good goalie now in the nhl so i think hes gained some respect back.

  • i was at the game at the 3 second to 6 second mark im the one right above the red line with the white an yellow bruins jersey on the glass second goal went in under cross bar but the first the player lost the puck an then reached back for it which should b no goal. he freaked cuz of the bad call on the first goal an then used the second as a excuse.

  • those refs have to be high

  • first goal was debateable. It still had a forward momentum.

2nd goal it the bar inside the net. Just look where the ref is pointing

  • hey bud the refs always point at the net when it goes in..are you stupid? obviously you know nothing about hockey..stop commenting on stuff if you are retarded..just because the ref points somewhere doesnt mean shit..he could point at your mama in the crowd but that just means 1. he thinks shes hot or 2. shes a slut and is kicking her out

  • I know refs point at the net when there is a goal, but he was pointing at the spot where he saw the puck hit you fucking tool. And if you're too blind to see where he was pointing, it was specificly the bar in the back of the net.

  • LOL!!!

  • And the shocking thing out of all of this, was that Rask DIDN'T get suspended.

  • That first goal... Isn't it supposed to be a continuous play? He lost the puck at the end...

Second goal, it looks like it hit the post, but how are we to really know?

In my opinion he was justified to freak out. It happens with every goaltender.

  • U COLDVE KILLED SOMEONE!!!!

  • the first goal was in but it wasnt goal because he moveed himself and the puck backwards

  • Just both brutal calls by the Ref. both goals didn't go in. the ref gave the other team a win. i'd freak out too if i was rask

  • that did hit the crossbar you stupid ref i would go berserk to because thats not a goal!!!! :(

  • If you bothered to watch the replay....it hit the bar in the back ofthe net...it was a goal

  • I didn't see any replay. And even if it did, what about the first shooter?

  • wat a fag for a ref

  • That ref should be taken out and shot.

  • @elcheez Why should a ref be shot and taken out???

  • TUUKA TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He goes off on those refs!!!

He should have threw the goal at them!

    Those were both NO GOALS!

The first one was not a continuous motion, one shot, it was two shots, whisch is automatically NO GOAL! THe second you can here rang the top, front pipe of the goal and came off it, that ref was fucking blind or he was betting against providence and made some money on it, in either case that ref was a dickhead!

  • good for you tukka your the man! hes been so sick for the b's so far this year as the backup. he's a future all-star caliber nhl goalie! id bet my life on it! he's got like a 92 or 93% save percentage in his first real nhl season! and he will only get better!

  • Comment removed

  • no goal

  • that hit the crossbar

  • i was there look at the corner i had a green sweatshirt=]

  • i was at the game that night and the ref was horrible the whole game. I was sitting in section like 110. They did not show the first goal that started this fight with the ref! This started when Albany missed the goal and then shot it in at the boards and the ref made it a goal that was NOT suppose to be a goal and the ref called it a goal! This ref needs to go back to footlocker were he belongs!

  • atleast we in finland had kinda nets in front of the goal so the puck would stay in, u know before we got the cameras

  • both werent goals. 1st because rask poked it away and he went backwards to get the puck. 2nd because it hit the crossbar. if you listin, at 8 or 9 seconds you can hear it hit the post.

  • TUUKKA TUUKKA

  • hes not a minor leauge goalie he is able to play in the NHL

  • False, if you actually read the rule, it clearly says "a players forward motion". The puck has nothing to do with it.

  • ur a homo get a rules book

  • he went backwards...

  • not only did he go backwards, so did the puck.

  • the 1st one shouldn't have been a goal because the shooter lost clear possession of the puck (at that point the play should of been blown dead).

Much harder to tell on the second one, though it is interesting to note that the shooter acts like he missed until the ref called it a goal.

  • ur fucked

  • i was at the game that night and the ref was horrible the whole game. I also got a chance to talkto the president of the league and he said the ref got the goals wrong.

  • i did go in

  • haha wow...that was bull shit

  • first goal was garbage............

  • so did the second 1 go in?

  • I think both goals were good

  • Then you are either an Albany fan or a complete moron!.. just sayin

  • On the first goal I can't see the stick check, I think when the guy realized that Raask was poking, he tried to pull the puck back quickly and made him loose control....when he saw the puck was just in front of him, he just nailed it top corner. His reaction of shooting it was logic since he felt like the goalie didnt touch the puck.

On the second goal I was wrong, I just heard the audio and it definetely hit the boards.

  • Yes but it doesn't matter for the first one. The point is that as soon as he lost control of the puck, and was forced BACKWARDS to retreat after the puck, the play is dead by official rules. His forward motion clearly stops as he takes a step back to fire a shot. Thats illegal.

  • I agree. No wonder Rask was so pissed after the second goal. That ref was SO retarded!

  • the boards? I think you mean the crossbar? And if it hit under the crossbar then it is a goal, but it is hard to tell from this video.

  • no way man, first one he stopped his forward motion. can't do that in a shootout. second one looked legit.

  • Your dumb then there is ovboulsly rules dumbass

  • Both were no goals

  • first definitely no goal , puck checked, not going forward anymore ...

and for the second, close and difficult to call but look at the shooter, he's acting more like "f**k hit the crossbar" than "it's in"

  • the rule is a constant forward motion is needed. the guy peeled off to the side after being pokechecked already by rask. goal two ref should get his head out of his ass and check the replay. thats what its there for.

  • idk about both those goals, that first one looked like he stoped and went backwards

  • Comment removed

  • first one definately a goal second one hits the crossbar too close to call...since the ref is closer im gonna side with him on this one

  • you obviously know nothing about hockey.

  • first shot wasnt a goal second was

  • hell no, both werent in

  • the first was definitely no goal and the second one did hit the post but might have been a goal, its a little too fast to see.

  • Those were absolutely pathetic calls by the referee. That one might have gone in, but the first one where they let the play continue, that's just bullshit, that's why the shootout is such a bitchass way to decide a 65 minute draw, just let it count as a tie, this whole 3 breakaways a piece to decide a game is a marketing ploy to get more AMERICANS to like hockey.

  • Both were no goals Rask poke checked the first one barely & the second shot hit the boards & bounced off the side of the net.

If you listen carefully you can hear the puck hit the boards.

  • those were some terrible calls by the refs

no wonder why he got so pissed

  • Nice throw...gotta give him that

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • nice throw, by the way

  • calm down tukka

  • Tuukka Rask is awesome.

  • uhh. yeah he did hit the post and learn to fucking spell its lamborghini

  • wow, worst fucking reff everr!, i dont blame the goalie one bit, you can have the puck knocked away like that and get it back and score, and that one hit the post, bull shit..

  • it didnt hit the post

but the first one id be pissed off to

  • watch the video again and turn your speakers up

  • i was at the game it was crazy

  • ya i no once u lose control of the puck the play is dead and he lost control. It should not have counted. Idk about the second 1 now

  • Yea, the second hit the back post but the first goal he stopped, trailed back and had lost control of the puck and stopped, no goal, I love the mad goalie, a new Belfour

  • Hey Hanrahan! Suzanne sucks pussy!....

  • cam ward is the best now i guess...

  • Dude, you lost. Give it up.

  • (reply to youhurtmyfeelings, not Tukka. That first goal was horseshit. Can't tell on the second.)

  • tukka is nasty, and i dont blame him even if it looks bad, both goals were horseshit........can't wait to see him playing for the B's soon!

  • Bad Call on both.

  • hes learning well from Tim Thomas, act like a baby when scored on...

  • Haha you're probably a Montreal fan butthurt about your team getting owned 2-0 inthe series.

Cry more. Thomas is the best goalie in the NHL, and Tuukka is slated to be right behind him when called up next year.

  • You cant say Thomas is the best in the leauge, hes good no doubt but not the best.
