I can't blame him for freaking out, refs a total retard. First one was a rebound, which you can't have in a shootout, and the second one is hard to say which crossbar it hit.

This started when Albany missed the goal and then shot it in at the boards and the ref made it a goal that was NOT suppose to be a goal and the ref called it a goal! Yes but it doesn't matter for the first one. The point is that as soon as he lost control of the puck, and was forced BACKWARDS to retreat after the puck, the play is dead by official rules. His forward motion clearly stops as he takes a step back to fire a shot. Thats illegal.
the rule is a constant forward motion is needed. the guy peeled off to the side after being pokechecked already by rask. goal two ref should get his head out of his ass and check the replay. thats what its there for.

both werent goals. 1st because rask poked it away and he went backwards to get the puck. 2nd because it hit the crossbar. if you listin, at 8 or 9 seconds you can hear it hit the post.

False, if you actually read the rule, it clearly says "a players forward motion". The puck has nothing to do with it.

the 1st one shouldn't have been a goal because the shooter lost clear possession of the puck (at that point the play should of been blown dead).
Much harder to tell on the second one, though it is interesting to note that the shooter acts like he missed until the ref called it a goal.

i was at the game that night and the ref was horrible the whole game. I also got a chance to talkto the president of the league and he said the ref got the goals wrong.

On the first goal I can't see the stick check, I think when the guy realized that Raask was poking, he tried to pull the puck back quickly and made him loose control....when he saw the puck was just in front of him, he just nailed it top corner. His reaction of shooting it was logic since he felt like the goalie didnt touch the puck.
On the second goal I was wrong, I just heard the audio and it definetely hit the boards.

Yes but it doesn't matter for the first one. The point is that as soon as he lost control of the puck, and was forced BACKWARDS to retreat after the puck, the play is dead by official rules. His forward motion clearly stops as he takes a step back to fire a shot. Thats illegal.

the rule is a constant forward motion is needed. the guy peeled off to the side after being pokechecked already by rask. goal two ref should get his head out of his ass and check the replay. thats what its there for.

Those were absolutely pathetic calls by the referee.That one might have gone in, but the first one where they let the play continue, that's just bullshit, that's why the shootout is such a bitchass way to decide a 65 minute draw, just let it count as a tie, this whole 3 breakaways a piece to decide a game is a marketing ploy to get more AMERICANS to like hockey.
