I dont think that was so much the final boss as it was the games fighting mechanic in general. In AC1 it was much harder to kill a single enemy, but when i got to AC2 i could mow down any eney with ease. The game is still awesome purely for the story

I agree that the boss fight was weak, but the era of final bosses is over. What percentage of final bosses are really tough these days, maybe like 25% of new releases will have a worthwhile final boss, and that's only IF they decide to have a final boss at all. It's all about replay and collecting achievements now.

well i will myself admit that it was a pretty dumb that they gave ppl the option to fight like that but i think that this fight does depend on fighting normal. (i think if i had this game id die because let's face it i would rather fight normal but i suck at game that you fight that way. I didn't liked Assasins Creed 1, that long as fuck and unskipable tutorial just made me despise it, and it wasn't even that hard the thigns you have to do to beat this game, but they made you them over and over again in that shit only with minuscule variations and in a white cloud something as a background, I don't have a ps3 so I have to pay per hour and when most of the time I payed was wasted in a fucking tutorial that just ensures that I am not playing this game any time soon.

This fight was when the "Pope" had lost his staff and the apple. He was basically deemed powerless and Ezio just gave him a fair fight by fighting bare-handed.
u know Rodrigo Borgia was a real pope the only difference is that those situation are fictional but most of the characters are real like Lorenzo Medeci and the Pope.
NONE of the boss battles are hard at all, you dont really even call them bosses, they are assassinations. so why would the last one be hard? and u couldnt use wepons in that fight silly phil.

Hey how come you only showed the last half of the boss fight? you have to fight him for about 20 minutes before chasing him in that room, then you beat the shit out of him. But before that, he was almost invincible. I had to corner him and spam the hidden blade over and over, I even wasted all 6 bullets on him which didnt even hurt him.

Assassin's Creed 2 sucked regardless of the ending.
The controls were still shitty. I don't know how many times I accidentally jumped off a building while I was trying to jump on something else in the same area.
Add to that when I would be in the middle of the fight the camera would break away from who I locked onto.
The game was decent at best. Hopefully Creed 3 will be better.

I didn't liked Assasins Creed 1, that long as fuck and unskipable tutorial just made me despise it, and it wasn't even that hard the thigns you have to do to beat this game, but they made you them over and over again in that shit only with minuscule variations and in a white cloud something as a background, I don't have a ps3 so I have to pay per hour and when most of the time I payed was wasted in a fucking tutorial that just ensures that I am not playing this game any time soon.

well, im actually not suprised one bit that the boss was easy as shit to beat.
in the first one, was a complete downer for me. the part where the nine people you kill come back was SO easy. like fuck i was hoping for a challange & my master was easy to kill too.
you would think after battling the last guy & all his guards that the big ending would be hard & legit as fuck, it wasnt.

LOL, Assassins Creed is REALISTIC, what did you expect him to turn into a giant dragon who takes a 3 step process to defeat? Obviously you've never played a Ubisoft game before, because they are notorious for making final boss fights disapointingly easy(like in sands of time).

This fight was when the "Pope" had lost his staff and the apple. He was basically deemed powerless and Ezio just gave him a fair fight by fighting bare-handed.

The final boss battle in the first one was just as easy. All you had to do was hidden blade counter once and the fight was over.

NONE of the boss battles are hard at all, you dont really even call them bosses, they are assassinations. so why would the last one be hard? and u couldnt use wepons in that fight silly phil.

i finished the game today.....i tought that it was decent, i keep couterin him to the death =D ,for me the early battle where you clone your self with AlMualin jedi power was awful, i mean hes just like a average guy .....i beat him 2 times(Ezio and Altair) WITH THE PUNCHES.......omg......for me he needed to launch lazors....and fly around so you hav to climb up and do the flyin hidden blade atack,thiings like that

i was playing this game andit seemed like a world of its own it was awesome . . . . until i realized that the ending cutscene was another 2012 "Prophecy" but overall badass game must have| if you didnt play assassins creed 1 get that game play it finish it get assassins creed 2 do not waste time! also always talk to lucy in the first game after warren vidic leaves! its an achievement and you get more backstory

Hey how come you only showed the last half of the boss fight? you have to fight him for about 20 minutes before chasing him in that room, then you beat the shit out of him. But before that, he was almost invincible. I had to corner him and spam the hidden blade over and over, I even wasted all 6 bullets on him which didnt even hurt him.

The only reason the boss was so easy was because you pushed him into the wall and kept doing button mashing and not countering really phil you just made the game easy on your self i did not do that and the game was pretty good solid story line the only problems ive had is platforming and controls thats it all and all the game was good and people who say it sucks burn in hell btw are you doing the DLC that comes out in January and February

Assassin's Creed 2 sucked regardless of the ending.
The controls were still shitty. I don't know how many times I accidentally jumped off a building while I was trying to jump on something else in the same area.
Add to that when I would be in the middle of the fight the camera would break away from who I locked onto.
The game was decent at best. Hopefully Creed 3 will be better.
