  • this guitar reminds me of a banana

  • It's all in the fingers, isn't it?

  • why do teles look so good when they are old and worn out? lol i finf it pretty weird, love those guitars though

  • i got this babe! :)

  • he's playing a tele when behind him there is the nicest looking 335

  • nice teddy :)

  • Hey Gregor, cheers from Honduras. I would like to know if this guitar is mexican made or if there are both, american and mexican. This guitar youre playing is mexican or american? Thank for your uploads. Great playing!

  • Not to bad of a sound from a mexican custom shop.......lmao!

  • There are so few people who can play this expressively... its all about the nuances. This is not a guitarist, this is a musician.

  • enough guitars????? :D awesome!

  • Lovin' dat! - Noe the G

  • Just bought the exact same guitar 2 days ago. Great sound. Are you using a boss looper?

  • hey greg amazing tone , what amp do you use in here?

    keep on ; )

  • would you recommend this bridge pickup?

  • Does it have a small neck or is it just me?

  • drunkkkkkkk?

  • Is this guitar made in Mexico or in the Usa?

  • @quaresminhas

Mexico. get an american special instead if you're thinking of getting one. The tex-mex pickups are very weak and thin sounding as far as fender pickups go.

  • @quaresminhas Road worns are generally made in Mexico. Mine is anyway.

  • Why do you change the pickups?

  • Great tone. Just got this guitar. LOVE it!!! Nice job man.

  • Great playing. You have quite a vintage collection of guitars and amps. I too have a collection. There are a mix of U.S. and foreign made. Ranging from Fender telecasters and stratocasters. A 335 copy. And a U.S. Gibson.Les Paul Studio. Amps ranging from Fender, Peavey, and Line6.

  • nice video! i just bought one and love it!

  • this guitar is sooo awesome!

and you posted this video right on my birthday ;D

  • This is bizarre. Who would pay a grand for a worn out guitar? I can demolish my own guitar free of charge. The buyers are obviously the same kind of people that would pay 300 bucks for a ripped blue jeans by Armani.

By the way, why didn't they work on the fretboard between the 9th and the 12th fret? These frets look like new.

  • @JohnnyReb2009 Because "cool" is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like the "beat up" look...

  • @JohnnyReb2009 Nitro finish, 6105 frets, Tex-mex pickups. Plus it does look cool. I've seen people who demolish there guitar, but they all almost end up in utter failure. These relics aren't bad, But to think about it, your actually just payin for those three features I mentioned earlier. Labor cost etc etc.

    Stop hating.

    Tim

  • Nice licks!

  • GREAT PLAYIN

  • Very playable guitars these RWs.....

  • pick dat tele manz!!!

  • i'm sorry, if you have a choice between this guitar and epiphone sheration 2 what would you get and WHY? please answer me.. somebody...

  • @TolikRyumin Just googled the "sheration" and it looks nice , but id go for the tele personly, i dont know if youve ever had epiphones before but if your like me and your very selfconsious , you will regret having epiphone rather than gibson on your headstock ;) its a personal thing but id have said you will feel more comfortable with the fender . haha hope this has helped ( not likley)

  • @guitarnuttty helped! thank you very much my friend ) спасибо =)

  • I like this series a lot but I want fender to make a road worn tele 60's reissue with a faster neck. Blond and something brighter like red or blue maybe.

  • @immaboogieman Considering I've never in my 51 years seen or heard of a guitar that was the least bit difficult to bend notes on, I would have to say no. Jumbo frets on a guitar are the equivalent of jogging on railroad tracks. All they do is make things more difficult. Fender should go back to the frets we all know and love from the first 54 years of their existence.

  • Not sure I love how the relic'ing on the maple fretboard was done. Maybe they'll make a version with a rosewood board. On the other hand, the maple might look better -- more natural -- after a few years of being played on and dirtied up.

  • RUBBISH!!

  • Great job.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • @immaboogieman bigger frets makes it easier to bend

  • Het that guitar is all cobbed up! Is it an old one or sumpthin'? hee hee

  • it's a model made by fender to look old... they looked bitched up, but play like a dream

  • what are you using for the backing track? that backing track is on the line 6 spider jam

  • Is the neck under the pickguard routed only for single coil or could fit an HB too?

  • Do you have other fenders with Lollars?

  • no!

  • Just wondering how do you like the Lollars.

I'm thinking to get a mex strat and drop the Black Face set in it.

    Just as an experiment........

    Thanks for reply!

  • Great tone , great playing , did you change the pickups ??

The neck pickup doesn't look worn out .

  • yes, take a look in the info text above

  • Nice, how is this guitar compared to a original tele? I mean, this guitar is almost half the price

  • Thanks. I think I will give the vintage Lollar's a try. I seem to like their tone a lot. I just got my Roadworn blonde tele last month so I will try to get some new pickups for it soon.

  • Comparing the stock pickups (texmex) to the Lollar 52/Adder's which would be better for classic and country rock tone (primarily with overdrive)? Thanks for any advice! :)

  • Awesome playing but sick camera work!

    How did you do that?

  • I have a camera man

  • where is the part 2?

  • lost...

  • smooth!

  • Superb!

  • awesome playing!

  • what's the difference between this finish and the honey blonde?

  • that is the honey blonde finish that hes playing

  • I like the comatose teddy passed out in front of the amp! Had one too many eh? Amazing playing my friend! Thanks for posting, and keep 'em coming!

  • To me it goes to show that gear does not mean all that much; granted that all of the gear is decent. I have seen this guy play at least two dozen guitars and he makes every one of them sound good. It is in your hands, not the guitar. Again, the guitar has to be of good quality. But, he uses Fenders, Gibsons, Tokais, etc. and they all sound good. I am sure if you gave him a no-name guitar it wuld still sound good.

  • by the way I loke the lollars pickup...great tone and playin.

  • this guitar doesn't play it self, it all in the fingers with this baby, i love mine to pieces....

  • I've been thinking about one of these. you made up my mind. Also great looking video- what camera/setup did you use? Thanks

  • did you play on it before upgrading the pickup?

  • no, I got the guitar like this

  • ive got one of these,, and for the price they are the best feeling tele :)

  • What do you think of the roadworn? They don't seem to be as nice as your standard guitars.

  • I feel very good playing this guitar. I like the neck

  • Just got done playing one of this Tele's. Somehow it didn't sound as good as the way it played for you :) Thanks for the video. outstanding play as always Greg.

  • alright, first view! great playing as always.
