Wow. its crazy to hear him talk about how he wants to live on after hes gone, and he has done exactly that, im only a kid and i jam out to him every day. hes before my time. thats saying something big.
Thanks. Just great. I talked to Michael once after a show in Kansas City. He was very generous with his time. I about freaked out when he did Lucky Star. The Watchtower was fantastic.
he reminds so much of bruce lee deep in a real way so insightful but like every other messiah they have to go young R.I.P micheal.bruce and jeff we'll miss you
3. messiah One who is anticipated as, regarded as, or professes to be a savior or liberator. his music does liberate me so yah its a good word for me lol its just a word. you go to far with this religion thing now i am not allowed to use words for other meanings lol you just made my day lol
to answer your question he liberates me from life the shit filled lives we all live. see i don't have it bad its watching people suffer from bullshit governments everything and thats why i used that word. any art form liberates me from my thoughts. saves me from my own mind thats what i mean by messiah. and if you weren't looking at the religious side of it i am sorry thats what i thought you meant by it
That's what I thought he was saying at first as well regarding the religious thing because it's mostly close minded religious people who would nitpick like that on youtube of all places.
right on, and you have to answer to no one,i mean 'littleredbirdy', or anyone with his mentality.I just found Michael Hedges recently, that's how i came upon this video.Michael Hedges has affected me to such a degree in such a short time(i'm teaching myself guitar)i would call him god, budha, gumby or whatever the !@#$ i(we) want to call someone who has easily moved me(us) in a way only comparable to huge life experiences.
My son is a god to me,sad few people know what we mean...
@ZOMBIELANDakaUSA same here been teaching myself for 6 years and it is the only thing that takes my mind off all the death and suffering i see i don't want to ignore it but some days i have to it is eating me alive but when i write a song it's like there is nothing but me and the sounds i make i love it
we sound like we're rowing the same boat my friend...
I also have daily anxieties from the negatives of this world,as hard as i try to deal, ignore, etc,i find myself overwhelmed...again.I can play the piano, and get decent sound out of most instruments, but the guitar has placed me in awe,and has consumed me,and is actually helping me find who the hell i was,a time when i felt good, etc.I think i'm on the right track again...
good luck to you, hope you do well...now go write!!! ;)
And look at that part of all of us..that can so closely relate to his words. He also was most couragious

Messiah is a pretty strong word.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
What are you liberated from? How is he a savior figure? What has he saved you from?
Religion? I never brought up religion, I brought up the actual definition of the word.
