How is it on the steep groomers. The thing i don't want is a real squirrelly board on the steep groomers. Have a park board but looking for a good all mountian as I finally experience the West. I'm looking at this and the Ride Berzerker in Wide
very helpful review ... still deciding between this one and Burton Clash.. am a beginner rider, still learning to link my turns... I plan to ride groomers on the east coast mainly but would love to take my board to the west coast when I get better...Seems like the Clash is much softer (and therefore better for me?) ... any tips?
Just finished the review. Very, very good review! I've watched a number of reviews and this was the most professional, eloborate I've seen. I typically see more like..overviews/quick 1-minute reviews of things and this was great. I especially like reviews done on the mountain rather than in their shop.
@EverythingisFire Thanks, you should check out our channel. We have a selection of our top reviews there. Plus, when get our new site out you'll see tons of reviews, all done on snow with real riders.
I watched 4 or 5 others afterwards haha. Subscribed! Apparently, I have seen one of your videos a while back before but it was an older one at a trade show or something. Really short, didn't think much of it.
Hmmm...Just heard of this board. I was set on a K2 Raygun but I like this too. Any advice? This season is off to a lackluster start, I really wanted an all-mountain board because I wanted to ride powder well(have never ridden it) and I'd like to learn to do tricks off of jumps. Love carvings too
@EverythingisFire We tested the Raygun and it got a 90 Shred Cred. It was one of those boards that got high marks from 2 riders and got so-so marks from 2 others.
Mike gave it an 85, while Luc gave it an 94.
You'd probably be happy with the GNU CC, but in this price range and based on the riding you want to do, take a look at the Arbor Formula and Forum Destroyer DD. They are great boards. If you can spend more, also check out the NS Proto CT.
i have the gnu carbon credit BTX board and i know its a good all around board and good for jibs but i was wondering if it was good for jumps? the most ill be doing is 360's off of 20's and maybe grabbing off a 30 footer. thanks
so this board is very versitile? i was looking at the signal omni wavelength 2012, and i was considering that, stumbled upon this. i think i might change my mind. do you have to detune this snowboard's edges? and would you rather have this board or the signal omni?
@Mr3ggy I think you may be going about this the wrong way. Take a look at what kind of rider you are and who you want to be and start from there. If you want I can walk you through it. Send a personal message to me and I'll send you a list of questions that will help narrow it down.
I've been debating for the past two seasons if I wanted to pony up the money for a skate banana or a carbon credit, but it looks like sister company GNU is doing a great job. Wish it had a sintered base, but other than that, all you really need is banana and magnetraction.

Great all around board and first board, if you have no idea what kind of rider you want to be. (personal experience)
