  • this guy is the ultimate 90's kid

  • ROFL I had these! I always got annoyed because my grandmother would confuse them with Hotwheels, which I also owned.

  • gta vc

  • u seem likr the kinda guy who sits out side watches your kid play then you show him and his frnds cool old stuff and they go "WOOOOOOOAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" and like geek out, aka an epic dad.

  • I had a few sets of these. I prefered micro machines over hot wheels back in the day.

  • I remember how hard they were for me to get as a kid. I never got an allowance and everyone on the block had kids my age to mow their own lawn. So the only way to get them was to beg and plead my mom when we went to K-mart that was in a town 16 miles away or trade at least 2 really cool Hot Wheels cars for 1 Micro Machine from other kids. My mom once took me to this older kids house at 9p.m. because she found out that I had traded over 20 Matchbox cars for 5 Micro Machines. She didn't get it.

  • I remember those commercials always thought that talking fast was annoying. xD

  • I had the Micro Machine game on a Sega Mega drive, but i had no idea there were real toys and playsets and stuff - Good Vid

  • wow wtf. i thought the guy in the commercial was speaking foreign language, lol when i realised it was really just sped up..

  • at 0:17 what is that? I remember having one but can't remember.

  • I used to make play sets out of cereal boxes and whatever cardboard I can get my hands on. The cars was okay, but when Micro Machines started to release jets and motorcycles I shat myself.

  • omg i have a ton of these micro machines.....there awesome....

  • in britain these came in collections of five, collections of five, collections of five

  • cool

  • Man, why do parents have to be stupid by NOT teaching there kids to stop swallowing small things and choking on them?! I grew up playing with these things as a kid and if I ever have a kid he'll never have the chance to play with these awesome toys unless I pay thousands of dollars!!! I hate stupid people...

Wow I think I just got DeJa Vu...

  • Wow. I love these. I had a bunch as a kid but I'm not sure what happened to them. I'm looking into buying these again cause they are so cool.

  • i remember having these!!

  • I have a TON of Star Wars Micro Machines... I should really dig them out of the attic.

  • Its amazing how large and clumsy your hands have got from when you were a child and delicate with those same toys, full circle events indeed. Very nice review ! Also perfect you got the commercial in 16x9!!!

  • But I think it's one of those franchises where the video game version/s is far more famous than the original toy now :D

Bu I do remember this kid at school who used to go to America each year (he was a Jehovah's Witness and had this big even there each summer) game back with a HUGE grocery bag full of micro machines (the thing was packed with them) and someone at school nicked the lot. No idea how they managed it as the bag weighted a ton.

  • Man!

I have so many Micro Machines from back in the day. I also have a big van that unfolded and was a city. That was one of the main backdrops when I played as a kid. :]

  • I found some Dick Tracy movie micro machines in my attic a few weeks ago.

Also some Limo ones for some reason.

  • Wowwww, I had totally forgot about micro-machines. I had the biggest collection going growing up. The ones I remember most were the ones that changed colour. I thought they were the coolest thing ever. Very cool. Thanks for posting this.

  • another classic toy, way to bring back fond memories, the boats pissed me off because I think most of them didnt float

  • That Micro Machines guy also had the World Record for most words spoken per minute. My buddy and I were just talking about Micro Machines at work the other day.

  • I was seriously searching the web for these the other day.

I mainly had the military ones. I still have a fighter jet one lying around somewhere.
