Im planning on scratch building a 110" lanc using Balsa and Foam it will be 9% of the size of the real lanc. :) its going to be powered with 4 brushed motors from a parkzone spitfire (i hope it works)
This a/c had 4 brushed motors in before i upgraded it and the performance can only be described as bad... The only sensible way to go is brushless with Lipoly batteries otherwise the flight time and performance will be very marginal. Or you could make me an offer for mine.....!
lol, sry mate but i gonna scratch build :) I think as long as i keep the weight to a bare minimum then she should work fine :) she doesnt need to do loops or anything lol
No not at all, handling is like a large 60 size trainer with control rayes on low, just a little slow to react in roll. Handling is very scale, give her plenty of time to do what you ask and all will be well, stir the controls like a pudding mixer and you will get very little back Can't yank and bank her to hard although she will keep up with a gws spitfire with brushless motor if needed! The 4 engine problem is removed with electric power as it is almost impossible to loose an engine.
Where was this filmed please ?

Great plane! More video skills required of the cameraman to do this model justice though. Look forward to seeing more.

What plans did you build from? Majestic flyer that. Very nice.

If it's not scratch built, then it's from the Tony Nijhuis plan/part kit. He's in the UK too, so more likely.

It's the main theme music to the film '633 Squadron'. Great music but should really only be used when showing De Havilland Mosquitoes. :-))

Thats an amazing model! Looks so realistic. Is it hard to flying with 4 engines?
