This band is definatly a retro 80s sound. That is good, there was alot of great music then.MEANTIME; Nightwish "Imaginarium" should be out ANY DAY NOW.Start watching for it.Marco told me that Tuomas wanted to FEATURE Annette somewhat as she has become part of their family.I met her/NW in Sept 08 at ProgPowerUSA, not many months after the Tarja thing.I thought it was gonna be a stressful occassion.Annette however was a peach and imposible to dislike.She is a talent.

Anette gives Nightwish an extra special something when they're performing live.

Though I've only seen them live after Tarja left, based on video's I've seen, the guys are a lot more laid back onstage with Anette. They seem to have more fun and it's not quite as serious.

Anette, needless to say, is very different from Tarja and lends the band a different sound and style, but hey! They're still amazing! And their concerts are absolutely the best; they all perform so well live.

I think Anette is a good singer. Tarja too. Tarja have something that Anette don't have ( Usually the voice of an opera singer ) but Anette have this slowly voice who can't relax you. But her voice, can't wake you up and it's marvelous to heard her voice. Tarja have a voice, a little bit, aggressive. More loud than Anette. But Anette have a calm voice. She have a special voice, like Tarja. But they don't have the same voice. I'm not a Tarja fan, but i don't hate her and i love Anette. NW Rock!!!

Simply, this is beautiful music. Its not supposed to be metal, goth metal and its unfair to compare to Tarja's operatic style (which for the record is poor compared to other similar artists like Lacuna coil, edenbridge or Within temption) its AOR melodic rock and as such is among the best within that genre .

Haha, thank you my friend. Actually, I've gotten to listen to Wishmaster alot more and I have to say, I actually kind of enjoy Wishmaster aswell now.

But,

I have to say this, Tarja messed up alot of those Wishmaster songs like Crownless and Wonderlust. As soon as I listen to songs like those, I love it, but as soon as Tarja starts singing in those songs, I've got to say, it kinda messes it up.
