This video's pretty good. I don't particularly care much for shipping in general in the Ace Attorney series, but I'll admit I'm a shameless, stubborn Phoenix x Maya fanboy and damn proud of it, too.

It's a very well made video. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this is the trailer for a GS anime. This game really, really and I mean really needs an anime.

The only reason pearl ever slaps Phoenix is when if in her eyes he is acting too friendly to anyone but Maya. Although she also slaps him if he makes Maya unhappy for some reason. Because as Maya put it, because there is so much divorce around the Kurain Village, Pearl is very sensitive to romance.

@IkazuchixSasori Agreed. Phoenix and Iris were only together for 6 months!.... would be my argument. Then someone else will shout "OBJECTION!" and point out the end credits of PW:T&T. And I'd feel like I'm on the defense bench with the "Kick Me" sign tacked on. Permanently. Hmph. At least we have Pearl Fey on our side.... among other evidence provided throughout the series. While the PxI fans only have ONE game to work off of....... *evil smirk* Hee... hee... hee...

@blade19961 No, he was playinh his game (Ace Attorney) not Edgeworth's Gyakuten. For all I know, the faint image of Edgeworth (if u look carefully at 2:57) can only seen in the first generation of Gyakuten.
