IDK if this hack came with my Dreamcast I brought from Ebay, but it is cool. My dreamcast Bios may had got hacked from a cd or something I downloaded and burned it to play on the DC.
The Hack is a 1-Block-save which is saved on a VMU. You can receive the Hack by using Dream Explorer or "Puyo Puyo Fever" (Segas last released Dreamcast-Game in 2004). So it's kinda official. And you just have to insert the VMU.

@lookatmeanimator its done using a save file from some japanese game, it's been so long I don't remember exactly, but you can load the save to the VMU using Dream Explorer, I think. Once the save is on the card it allows you to load into the crazy menu by hitting ... start, I think, again, it's been a long time.
is my dc broken? it doesent read the discs fast. it takes like 15 minutes to read a disc. when it does you can only play for a while till it cant read the disk anymore and goes back to the menu.
the ONLY "hack" i got out of my dreamcast was being able to play burned dreamcast games on it. im preety sure everyone found out how to do this, no need to open or mod your Dreamcast just burn the image of the game and play away!!
