I've lived in London and am married to a Londoner and I'm telling you she's deliberately trying to put on a fake English accent and failing horribly. Yes, exactly. I know someone who came to America will a full-force British accent, but it slowly became a mix of British/American, then eventually more American than it was British.
No one goes from talking with one accent one minute, then a completely different accent the next unless they're faking it. That's not how people adopt new accents.

I have an American and Bavarian accent because of where my family is from and going to a different area of Germany or Britain isn't going to change my accent at all and i still say ish for ich and möshte for möchte because meine Oma hat mich auf Bayrische dialekt gesprocht... even in icky Berlin (no pun intended)... it never changes Madge...

He sounds like a person who has neither one or the other accent because he's mixed his english and german for decades. Even my accent has changed, but people usually assume i must be from Britain. although when i am around my family my old accent comes bck as if it never left. So yes. It can change. Doesnt have to , but it can. Oh and the word youre looking for is gesprochen

Well she could of been faking it or maybe not i dunno because i youse to have a friend who would sort of put a lot of enphisis on his words( i don't really know how to explain it)and i ended up picken a bit of it up.I did this for quite a while until my mom called me out on it, then i gradually stopped doing it.I really have no idea if this can happen with accents because ive just about lived in canada(I was born in the U.K winchester)my whole life

No, in her case, it's not b/c she's hasn't 'adopted' any accent at all. If she had, she would be consistent during entire interviews and speeches but that's not the case. She can't properly enunciate most words so her "accent" waxes and wanes. In fact, her feigned accent is so poorly executed that she comes very close to sounding like a bad actress reading lines for a British speaking role. She's also been doing this nonsense since the late 80s, long before she lived abroad.
