Yeah... I was playing through IN on easy mode, and I got to this Stage. I was freaking out, because I'd never played it before, but the hardest part was the actual stage itself. When I got to Kaguya, I didn't die once. It was... sad.

Well, I just played Imperishable Night for my first time about 20 minutes ago, and I must admit... This would be difficult for me. Luckily its just a pretty version of Raiden, and I kick a decent amount of ass at Raiden, so I've got a pretty good foundation.

Ya know, I have to say, guys, after spending a lot of time getting my butt kicked in Mountain of Faith and (most gratuitously) Subterranean Animism, this battle doesn't look nearly as hard as some of the other Lunatic level gameplay I've seen. Heck, a few of those attacks even looked downright easy; like something I might see on normal mode or something.

NOT trying to say this was easy, just that it's not the super-impossible challenge some people may think it is.

One question. Why on 5:00 2 bombs are used?

@alyukr When you use a bomb on the brink of death in Touhou 8, it's called a 'deathbomb' or 'Last Spell' and it uses two bombs rather than one. If you use a bomb BEFORE the screen goes red, you use a normal bomb. ZUN didn't want to make it TOO easy to deathbomb in this game...

@alyukr When you're near to die, there is a little minimal time to press Bomb, if you use the bomb in this little time, you'll use 2, if not, it's only one.

Today I finished this game for the first time without suffering a single death (on easy mode that is). I also defeated the final boss without bombing, but those last words were a little too hard. Finished the first one, but failed on the 2 afterwards....

Learn the patterns, and Lunatic mode becomes a pissload easier.

Also, could some one tell me how Half Past 1 works? It seems random to me how to pass through the walls. How to you avoid getting hit when then bullets are moving so fast? Is it coded in that you can't get hit while moving or something?

@nintendonut888 TBH. I am quite a noob at this and still I was able to finish like 3 of her spellcards in hard mode, while practicing (no bombs, no deaths). If you look around you will find that there really are touhou bosses that are way harder than her.
