I agree that she's confident. It's more about wanting to give the perception that she's vulnerable, which I find appealing about her. I feel the exact same way about Alanis Morissette as an artist, though obviously she can sing her lungs out. Meiko too can wow any crowd she performs in front of. As long as she stays humble, she can be an amazing artist for years to come!

I love meiko! I wish she came across more confident in her singing..it sounded like a whisper. I understand she's young, but I mean the girl is beautiful and talented! What more could one want in life!! The song sounds like a major hit!! I'm surprised she's not on MTV.

i know what you mean...but i kinda prefer seeing her live because theres more "emotion" in her singing. you call it less confidence, i just think of it as more emotion.
