Look up Touhou.

Touhou = Bullet hell in english. It was credited for its huge cast of characters, music, and DIFFICULTY. If you thought THAT was hard don't even think about playing touhou on EASY. Other then that, I totally agree with you on this review. It looks awful. And this is coming from a person who LOVES anime and Japan.

The Nightstrike game is called a bullet hell shooter. Any bullet hell shooter released in the US that isn't upfront with you about it being a bullet hell shooter is fail, even if it was made in Japan. That's EXACTLY equivalent to trying to pass off a first person shooter to the Japanese as a first person RPG.

I have to disagree with your comments on the knightfire game, the game is of the SHMUP sub genre: Bullet Hell. In other words, it's SUPPOSED to be hard to beat, and have lots of enemy fire. But otherwise, it's a nice review.

night strike is in a sub genre of shooters called "bullet hell" if you look up mushihimesama you can see another perfect demonstration. the fact there are that much bullets is what defines it and makes it stand out amongst other shooting games like this, such as games like galaga. saying that the bullets are a problem is like me saying halo's bad because its in a first-person perspective.
