I was watching a movie at this time, then i just heard a random booming noise and all my neighbors were outside and i saw a cloud of smoke about 1/2 mile away

Well if the safety valves were not rusted and the owner really gave a crap (yes I know one owner) nobody would have been put into danger. At least the big tank did not explode, if they did there would have been a 5 mile crater.

I work at a propane place a few hours west of where this took place and a guy I work with was telling me to check this out, Im sanding on tanks and stuff all the time, moving em around, everything, and to think im working at a ticking time bomb.....I need to rethink job titles!

My friend works inside the office building! she didnt hear a damn thing til she started running full force up Macdade blvd all the workers did just in-case the 15 0r 33 Blew up! The fireman told us that We would have to been by Ashland ave to not be killed! "It's The Force of one of those tanks that would kill you If u weren't at least 2500 ft away, it would turn your insides to mush" Thank god those 2 tanks didn't go all the fighters would have been gone and the houses windows and the people!

My wife and kids were asked to leave our home, they went to stay with my father in law. This is a scary thing to have happen, it's not good to breath in the fumes from the propane in that concentration.(Grilling is a little safer.) I hope that there isn't any lasting effects from this causing health issues. Well we will see...
