@danielkabuto Yes you can.  They are the same tranny NVT-350. There are 3 different NVT 350. One with a 3.55 final drive ration, 3.94 final drive with a .71 5th gear and then a 3.94 final drive with a .81 5th gear. The difference is the neon got a cable clutch and the dsm cars got hydraulic. You have to swap bellhousings to make it work.

Dude, lol. Please don't do the drop like you showed it, XD. That looked HORRIBLE. If anything, get a 1-2 inch levelling drop. Or get air suspension. Just make sure your front wheels can clear the fenders when turning.

I got a 2.4 out of an 01 Sebring. It is more like the PT engine, and had an awesome cast iron manifold. Oh, and the Avenger 2.0 and 420A engine have the reverse flow head. Those will need custom work in a neon to work properly. Nice VC though, and awesome swap. I can't wait to finish rebuilding my 2.4 so it can go in my car.

when u were painting your valve cover did u cover your valve assembaly or just leave it

Ok i could use some HUGE help, i am thinking about doing this, is it REALLY hard, kinda hard, or just hard, lol, and how much do you think it cost you just for the stock motor tranny and exhaust and install? If i do this any reconmendations on parts or ideas? And do you recomened this? My dad has a SRT-4 and i am just 12 but i kno these cars inside and out so dont treat me like im a stupid spoiled kid cuz my first car will be paid for with my $ so I would like to start soon.

just made alittle fowm block the whid of the letters abd it came out cool.

or you could put vaseline on the letters before you paint it. just wipe it off afterwards. just a thought.
