  • @EricAutopsy

    i know

your profile pic just prooves it

    ----OWNED----

  • Well I know both: that this song does indeed kick ass, and also that they are neither pro or anti christian, they point things out. I don't think any of them are christian though Mark Morton said "I have my faith and my beliefs" he never said christian, also that seems like more of a deistic statement to me. I suspect they are a mix of atheists, deists, and agnostics. (Since they have no group platform on anything)

  • I don't know shit about the bible or christianity. I DO know that this song kicks ass

  • fuck vevo

  • holy shit the riff after the solo is sooooo fuckin brutal. look at em all just goin beast. if i was in a band this would be the first song on my list to cover...

  • mark looks so different without a beard! Or was that even him?

  • @musicaws2 It was him I know, but looks nothing like him there

  • @zonic26 Yeah like I know they've always been together, so I couldn't believe that they'd get a different guitarist for a video.

  • hoy me antoje de tarro lml u_ú lml

  • how the fuck is a new age piece of shit little fucking boy band the intro into this bad motherfuckin ass band?

  • Randy is the only dude that can pull off that haircut.

  • @MrStotts haha i was thinking the exact same thing throughout this whole video! :D

  • @MrStotts phil anselmo

  • @theLEWISization Well he had more of a shaved head, with Long air on the center top. That haircut is a different story. Only Phil Anselmo and Mike Patton could pull that off back in the day.

  • @MrStotts The misfits

  • perfeito

  • Just to counter Pains comment a few posts down Now youve got something to die for is actually a song dedicated to all service members, which they are true fans of in every respect, but this band is much more political that religious, at least more so nowadays. And as a whole collective argument PURE AMERICAN METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • w.e. their awsome enjoy the music peace to this broken world god heal this earth

  • Not their most technical song but my favourite :)

  • First time I've ever heard this song and I'm impressed. I like his older vocals a bit better.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful So even if you rationalize their name being changed does that justify the video to Ruin? The lyrics in Now You've Got Something To Die For "Blood to feed idolotry"? Lamb of God aren't Christian... They're the exact opposite, they mock the Christian faith, actually read their lyrics, like in Descending, Walk With Me In Hell, Omerta, Hourglass...

  • @PAINWAJ Hourglass is about paying tribute to Billy Mays commercials about advertising hourglasses.

Walk with Me in Hell is about partying with Jesus and demons in Hell.

Now You've Got Something to Die For is about punishing Satanists.

Ruin is about destroying churches that worship Satan.

Lamb of God are Christian, they support the Christian faith and mock the Satanic faith.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful What the fuck are you talking about? Hourglass is about Iraq, Now you've got something to die for is about flag waving warhawks, Ruin is about the end of society, Walk with me in Hell is essentially saying "Hey if we're wrong about religion at least we'll be together in hell".

Its not LoG's lyrics are open to interpretation, their a good band but it's not like Maynard James Kennan writes the songs or anything.

Lamb of Gods original name was "Burn the Priest".

  • @TrojanCover They converted from Satanism (Burn the Priest) to Christianity (Lamb of God).

  • @UsernameUnidentifful These guys are largely non-religious. Atheist/Agnostic/Deist/Free Thinkers ect. They were never satanist and they aren't christian.

  • @TrojanCover Then their band name should've been "Lamb of Atheists/Agnostics/Deists/Free Thinkers" instead of "Lamb of God".

  • @UsernameUnidentifful shut the fuck up just because they have the name lamb of god doesn't make them religious dickhead

  • @BesideLimbo If they're not religious then their name should be called "Lamb of Non Religious People" instead of "Lamb of God".

Why are they called Lamb of God if they're not religious?

  • @UsernameUnidentifful the record company made them change there name

  • @ednert121 No they didn't.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful BECAUSE THIS IS FUCKING METAL! they used to be called burn the priest until they weren't aloud to play at certain venues because of their name so they changed it to lamb of god... doesn't mean they are christian thats like saying that all the people in suicide silence are gonna commit suicide silently, get your facts right mate.

  • @BesideLimbo They changed their name to Lamb of God because they converted from Satanism (Burn the Priest) to Christianity (Lamb of God).

The reason why Suicide Silence doesn't commit suicide silently yet is because they're telling their fans to commit suicide silently. Get your facts right, mate.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful you sir are a troll!

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Def. not christian.

  • @ArchTyrian They are Christian, look at their band name.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful They are not Christian lol, their earlier work had Biblical references, that's why they have that name.

  • @trihexilon5 Yeah, lots of bands have Biblical references too but taking the side of being anti-Christian.

Lamb of God also has Biblical references but they take the side of being pro-Christian.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful read their lyrics you fucking idiot

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Oh and also, their original name was "Burn the Priest". Obviously Christian

  • @kraiddragon They converted from Satanism (Burn the Priest) to Christianity (Lamb of God) and I also read the lyrics.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Yes, because a chrisitian would tell you to walk with them in hell?

  • @ArchTyrian That song is about Christians being guided to a place where they will stay unless they do good things in order to get into Heaven.

  • @TrojanCover I see the concept of irony is lost on you.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful can't tell if trolling or just stupid.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Dude, their name used to be Burn the priest...How christian is that :D

  • @TrickBott They were once Satanists (Burn the Priest) before converting to Christianity (Lamb of God).

  • Everyone stop arguing about what religion they are, they even said themselves, they're not a christian band they have different faiths, not get over it everyone!

    Just enjoy the sick song!

  • @UsernameUnidentifful oh sorry I thought you were legit my bad your a troll now starve after we stop posting

  • Fuck intros.

  • @RuneFinity44 YOU STOLE MY COMMENT THAT I STOLE FROM ANOTHER DUDE SHAME ON YOU !

  • @trig3rhappy

    Welcome to the internet.

  • @RuneFinity44 Fuck VEVO.

  • @VladislavaDracula666

I'm actually really glad for VEVO.

Making is easy to listen to muusic/watch music videos....

    So gtfo.

  • lamb of god a christian band?? Have you ever heard of a little album called Sacrament? Along with not being a christian band, they despise christianity

  • @dougkultti Actually, thats just lyrics, they each have their own religion that they abide by. But they are definitely not a Chrisitan band, I can agree with that.

  • @Jeffness1991 There actually all athiest

  • @dougkultti Sacrament? That's one of their Christian albums!

They are a Christian band, it's also proven through their own band name.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Lamb of God were originally called Burn the Priest... Pretty sure they're not Christian.

  • @PAINWAJ They converted from Satanism (Burn the Priest) to Christianity (Lamb of God).

  • @UsernameUnidentifful They don't have one set religion in the band, they had an interview and Randy even said that they all have different faiths.

  • @ShammShammy They do have one set of religion, it's called Christianity.

If they really don't have one set religion in the band, their name would've been "Lamb of So Many Different Religions" instead of "Lamb of God".

  • @UsernameUnidentifful LOL, bro before they were Lamb of God they were called Burn the Priest ONLY because they were instrumental, mark elaborated on this in an interview if you really knew LOG you would know this...

  • Comment removed

  • Amazing!

  • easily log's best song and by far the best groove metal song ever. cant get enough of log's riffs. by far the most technical metal band in history. anyone feel free to disagree but i think im right =D

  • @riffage916 You're incorrect in so many different ways.

The most Technical Metal band is Death.

This band is a weak Christian band compared to Death.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful i like Death too but this is way better. And fuck no, there's nothing christian about this band, retard. It's just name of the band... if you look some of their lyrics you will understand

  • @TanukiOtaku Death is way better, this band would be nothing without Death.

There is something Christian about this band, listen to their lyrics.

It's all about partying with Jesus and the devil.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful well that's your opinion. Just google "lamb of god christian" and read some of their interviews. I bet randy and others know are they christian band or not.

  • @TanukiOtaku I googled it and they even said that they're Christians.

  • Randy, you're way too awesome for that haircut!

  • Not a single word was understood this day

  • @dragonithv

I can understand the entire song.

  • @dragonithv correction. I think i understood him saying "rest" XD

  • @dragonithv this is one of the few i think i get every word.... read the lyrics while listening to black label.... he's not saying them at all

  • @dragonithv You must have below normal hearing :/

  • @dragonithv

All you need to know is "we'll dance as the palaces burn"

  • This was the song that turned me to this band. And they just keep on getting better with each new album. XD

  • haha I like their old albums better. After Wrath I lost my log-jizzness..

  • Confirmed troll you guys. Nothing to see here, move along...

  • Love this band, amazing sound, huge riffs, totally hate the singer though sorry.

  • my band is called "Parrhesia" that mean im greek?

  • oooh shit!!! Its realy good! I love LoG with this emoutions!

  • Fuck man I love when all I see on a Metal Video Such as this is stupid shit about religion. This May be just me but When I come to youtube, it is not to see comments about nothing even relative to the band. Man does LoG sound good.

  • LOG FANS CHECK OUT OUR CHANNEL.

  • FUCK THE ADVERTISEMENT!

  • Is that Mark? Without a beard!?!?!?!?

  • @nelsenjoe yeah :D thats him

  • why the fuck was a pitbull advert on a lamb of god video.. i wanna see metal. not shit!

  • Christian band, their band name proves it.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Dude keep your christian stuff to yourself. Don't bring that religious shit into music please.

  • @hotdevilzz But their band name proves how Christian they are.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Lamb of god, previously known as Burn the priest

  • @DyNaCoR3ftw They converted from Satanism (Burn the Priest) to Christianity (Lamb of God).

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Listen to Walk With Me in Hell and then tell me that. I'm Christian but they're not a Christian band, nor are they religious. Just enjoy the music and leave religion out of it.

  • @thatusmmaguy I've heard that song, it's about angels and Christians walking around in Hell, exploring what it is.

They are a Christian band, their band name proves it.

If they don't want to be a Christian band, they can change their name to "Lamb of Satan".

  • @UsernameUnidentifful I don't know... I would agree with you, but there are 2 things that make me perplexed: the name Lamb of God doesn't prove certainly that they're Christian. It's like say that every band with "Satan", "Demon" or "Fiend" in the name is Satanist. And if they're Christian, how can we explain the song Ruin (both music video and lyrics)? Anyway, since I don't know much Lamb of God, you may be right.

  • @DamonDraven And I was also wondering why Ruin music video is forbidden by VEVO in some countries. I can't see it on VEVO here in Italy, for example. And Italy is primarily Christian.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Either you're being purposely disagreeable or you're just blind, but if you still need convincing, listen to Ruin and Blacken the Cursed Sun. Most definitely not Christian. It's like saying Devildriver is a Christian band, when they are also most certainly not.

  • @thatusmmaguy Of course Christian Metal would still have song titles such as "Ruin" and "Blacken the Cursed Sun".

Devildriver is obviously not a Christian band, emphasis on "devil".

  • @thatusmmaguy Names like "Ruin" and "Blacken the Cursed Sun" are common-like names for Christian Metal song titles.

Obviously Devildriver isn't a Christian band, emphasis on the word "devil".

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Trapped you there. Devildrivers are the bells that churches used to ring to drive away evil spirits. They were considered holy. Yet I can assure you, it's not a Christian band. Leave religion in the church, where it belongs.

  • @thatusmmaguy Then Christian bands shouldn't be singing about religion.

Devildrivers are also people who drive devils out to restaurants, hotels, clubs and even to parties but that only exists in Hell.

Lamb of God should be called "Lamb of Godless" if they're not religious.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful I'm not even really sure how to respond to that...I'm just going to walk away from this conversation.

  • @thatusmmaguy That's because you know that I'm right.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful you obviously have no idea what your talking about...

  • @warchild556 Yes I do, their own band name proves that they're a Christian band.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful my bad...wrong person...yeah ur right...devildriver is a christian band...Lamb of God's bandname suggests something about the duality of man...that they are obviously not christian but agrees there is a god and that most men are godless...

  • @warchild556 The term "lamb of god" is a Christian term.

That means Lamb of God is a Christian band.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful The drummer once said in an interview: "I’d much rather deal with people thinking we’re a Christian band than a Satanic band, even though we’re neither." Do your research before you pretend to know what you're talking about.

Google Lamb of God lollipop interview, should take you right to the interview I got the quote from.

  • @IWillCallHimMINIME That drummer is a hidden Christian, trying to hide his beliefs even though his band name shows evidence of him being Christian.

I did my research, that research shows how Christian they are.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Its funny how you have no sources to prove any of this, and I can give you tons of legit ones saying otherwise. It's hard to do research on something so glaringly false as the stance you're taking, so I can understand your lack of proof, it's okay.

  • @IWillCallHimMINIME Says the poser who listens to Cradle of Shit.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Lol listening to Cradle when they were still good makes me a poser? Riiiight. Also, I fail to see how your (incredibly inaccurate) labeling of me as a poser proves your point any more then your convenient lack of sources. In the end, you still have no points in your favor, while those of us who know what they're talking about can prove you wrong again and again and again. Poor troll bit off more then he could chew lol

  • @IWillCallHimMINIME Cradle has never been good, they have always been a poser band and an infection to Black Metal.

I already gave you points in my favour while you take false information from misleading sites. In the end, all your opinions are flawed because of your taste in poser bands.

Poor victim, feeding me more than he can handle.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Going back to the original argument, you haven't made ANY points in your favor. You've just tried to bullshit your way through the conversation so I'd give up without making you actually come up with some.

As to me being a poser, have all the fun your little heart can get out of this. If I stopped listening to bands because someone said they didn't like my taste in music, my iPod would be wiped clean by now.

  • @IWillCallHimMINIME I made EVERY point in my favour. You're ignoring the facts throughout the conversation and you gave up knowing you lost.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful I laughed at your "christian themed lyrics" statement. A bunch of their songs are ANTI-religious, if you take the time to look at the lyrics. but why should you, you already obviously know it all already.

And, by all means, go ahead and name two or three "points" in your favor. Hint: the name doesn't count. It's meant to tell people that not everything is as it seems on the surface, something you very obviously missed, or are wasting your time purposefully not getting.

  • @IWillCallHimMINIME Walk With Me in Hell is about exploring how fancy Hell is with their restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, casinos and strip clubs.

Like going down to Las Vegas but with demons as your friends and partying with Jesus.

That sounds like a Christian theme.

Laid To Rest is about getting laid with angels then resting, hence "Laid to Rest".

There, I named two points in my favour.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful Achievement unlocked: Be laughed at by everyone who has read your ridiculous comments while making absolutely no sense. You have earned the title "Moron".

  • @Rimondo3289 That achievement doesn't count as it is made by a poser who listens to a poser band called System Of A Down.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful No, they aren't a christian band. They did get their name from the bible, but a bunch of non-christian bands have done that

  • @FromUnderOrion Yes they are a Christian band, they even have "God" in their name.

I have never seen any non-Christian band take Christian titles as their band name.

Non-Christian bands sing about either politics, blood and gore, non-religious emotions or about fantasy stuff.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful

You do realize they were named "Burn the Priest" before they changed name to Lamb of God, right? Do you still believe they are a christian band?

  • @Shin0BixD Yes, they converted from Satanism (Burn the Priest) to Christianity (Lamb of God).

  • @UsernameUnidentifful No, they didn't. They've never been satanic and they're not a christian band now. You might need to read up on what it means to be a christian band, LoG is not one. TDWP is an example of a christian band. Regarding the name change it was due to superstitious club owners lot letting them play at their venues as they believed they had an "evil" name.

  • @Shin0BixD Lamb of God is a Christian band, they even have Christian themed lyrics too.

So does Devil Wears Prada (both poser bands).

Regarding their name change, it was due to them converting into Christianity and wanting to be Christians.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful

    Christian themed lyrics.. yeah right.

"Cheaply venal, stupidly verbose. A slip of the tongue, a slit of the throat. Six feet under, with no marker."

If that's what you call christian lyrics then I'm glad that I'm an atheist. Stupid religious people who can't realize that the ones who have brought the most pain and suffering to mankind throughout the years are YOU.

And once again, no, they did not change name due to them wanting to be christians.

  • @Shin0BixD I love how you automatically assumed that I'm religious just because I told some other guy about the lyrics to Lamb of God's songs.

Religion didn't cause people to bring suffering and mankind throughout the years, people did it.

It's the people's own responsibility when it comes to their own actions.

Nothing else to blame other than themselves.

Once again, yes, they did change name due to them wanting to be Christians.

Why do they have the name "Lamb of God" if that's not the case?

  • @Shin0BixD Your opinions are also flawed because you have LMFAO in your favourites.

One boy band that sounds so bad that it makes nails on a chalkboard sound like Mozart.

  • @Shin0BixD they all have different views on religion check out some of there interviews. they say it themselves

  • @MooMetal60 That doesn't mean that they're a christian band, that's a completely different thing. If I were to start a band with my friends we would all be christians, but that wouldn't mean we're a christian band. You can read about what it means being a christian band here: h t tp : / / en . wikipedia . org/wiki/Christian_metal#Christian_bands_in_metal_subgenres

  • @UsernameUnidentifful You're an idiot, aren't you. "Herp derp, God is in their name, obviously they're a Christian band!!"

No. They're not. Some of the members are, like Mark, but they're not a Christian band. Dumbass.

  • @ragekage209 You're the idiot here.

You even admitted that the members are Christian, so they must be a Christian band.

You must've got your misleading information from other posers, since you're like them listening to Avenged Poserfold.

  • @UsernameUnidentifful I laugh in your general direction. End of debate.
