  • god will we EVER see a 3 layout series on beam again???

  • So sad to see Milo walk away w this one...Dawes should've been the 93 beam champ!!!

  • the 93-96 cycle is when they started changing the code of points 2 radically. it's ironic that under the old system, i'd agree Milo was cleaner and deserved a great score. but under the code used 4 this cycle, i thought the major factor was helping those who had harder sets be given bonus 4 higher degree of difficulty? this was clearly a title Dawes deserved outright.

  • @htownhomie06 i know i was never a fan of the 93-96 COP i hated how front tumbling could get you as much bonus points as double layouts, which hardly seems fair!

  • Lavinia also had a 10.0 SV wheras Dominique did not. Hard to believe, considering Dawes routine looked more difficult.

  • @SandersBron In event finals there were special requirements in the COP. I think one of those was a D or higher mount to have a 10 SV and Dawes did not have it.

  • @SandersBron There are special start value rules just for event finals to have a 10 start value. I believe one of them might have been a D or higher mount which Dawes did not have.

  • @SandersBron Really? It basically looked the same as the Atlanta Olympic routine and surely she had a 10 SV by then!

  • I prefer Dominique's rountine to Lavinia Milosovici's. Dominique finished with a silver behind her, but Dominique had more difficulty and flair. I guess Lavinia's routine was considered more cleanly done.

  • She's one of my inspirations. Amazing.
