  • shouldnt have cut the line that woulda been cool if you landed it

  • @pickypal100 - Blue water kayak fishermen in Hawaii are going for Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Ono, Sailfish, etc......not sharks. The sharks just show up because of the activity, and occasionally are hooked. I assume you chose a name like "pickypal" since you make such pedantic comments. Stop being such a douchebag.

  • I seriously hope you keep a knife on your vest or person encase you do get pulled over.

  • these Americans really are stupid, what was the whole point of that? why you in a kayak if theres boats there? obvious you set out to catch the shark off a kayak because you were using heavy gear...little children do things like that.....the music that accompanied this video further proves youre a bunch of wankers always trying to be dramatic. 3 year olds have that mentality, your maturity levels are so low that youve no idea how stupid you look. another dislike from me

  • @pickypal100 and you yourself is a dumbass troll.

  • dont mean to be rude but fuck that was boring.

  • Thumbs up if you plan to watch "man sticks his head up girls ass" next.

  • @PappaGunscho I did this and was not disappointed.

  • wow really? disappointed

  • lol more footage to come lets hope the other video isnt 9 mins long

  • What kind of boat was that in the background?

  • thanks for sharing! looks... exciting

  • what a wanker

  • wheres the shark???

  • i liked it and believed it. i bet your adren was pumpin like crazy!

  • jajaja una roca !!!

  • the Guys an idiot for bring a kayak in the ocean,

  • @Fjuran1234 i bring my kayak out on the sea all the time and i have no prob

  • Comment removed

  • @coldcolors def a waste of time. 9 mins for nothing.

  • what kind of bait were you using?

  • Totally pointless video, you might as well been hooked onto a cinder block for all we know. Wow. I've hooked into some fair sized sharks before too and didn't land them, but you don't see me posting the videos. 10 ft tiger, maybe 15 foot tiger my ass, probably anything over ten and he wouldn't be able to sidesaddle it unless he had too little drag to ever recover line. A 15' tiger from that yak would be towing you a lot more than that.

  • That'l wear you out.

    S~

  • Awesome vid, no doubt you had a big fish. And yes Kayaks are very stable if you purchase a good quality Yak. You get what you pay for. I had a Wilderness Ride and fly fished for Redfish out of mine along the Louisiana gulf coast for a number of years. I sure miss that thing. Check out "30 miles out" by Ty Southerland this dude has some awesome Kayak Fishing vids.

  • REMOVE this video. What's the point? YouTube vids are to share things by showing not narrating a fishing story. WASTE OF PPLS TIME.

  • te felicito hermosa pesca

  • The shark said to his friend, "I almost had a delicious meal served on an orange dinner plate, but the bastard got away."

  • i have to but i like the sound of water hitting the boat

  • He realistically caught a tire.

  • you coulda been acting for all we know

  • hahaha....i can see he was freaking scared too, that he just cut the line....lolz.....useless bastard....

  • hemingway would aprove

  • I fish off the Kona Coast in my kayak, and have had Tigers come right up to the side of my kayak and look at me. Trust me, you don't want to bring it all the way up to you when you only sit 4 inches off the water. Think about it MoMo!

  • Thanks only boring me with 9 minutes instead of the entire 82.

  • Most boring video ever.

  • that was boring... unfortunately those who think this video was worth posting, hoave no clue what it is like to watch 9 minutes of uneventful reeling set to an exciting and dramatic piece of music. maybe you should just stick with fishing. thanks for sharing. ps - quit fucking with sharks asshole.

  • All that and u don't even catch or show the shark what a waste

  • what's the point...

  • Was any one else watching his leg hang ing the water, waiting for it to get bit off? @darylethames1 how would you pull the hook out of the sharks mouth? I think you would have cut the line like he did if you where on a kayak and realized a tiger shark was on the other end. If not I would love to watch a YouTube video of you trying to get the hook out.

  • Great cut the line so beautiful shark dies with hook and tangled line, you jack ass!!!!!!!! I hope someone leaves a hook in your mouth with line and makes you run through the sticker bushes you waister of exotic life!!!!

  • @darylethames1 it wont die and the hooks often come out eventually

  • Catching a shark from a kayak might be exciting to do however it makes boring video. It would have been better to have to video camera in a boat with an elevated view.

  • crazy fucker

  • I had a Tiger about the same size try to eat the skeg of an outboard on a 14ft tinny (on the Great Barrier Reef, Qld). I was in a boat, and that was 'interesting' enough, I agree with cutting the line, as you said "It was a Tiger shark for Pete's Sake". Well done, that was a long time.

  • I believe that you can catch big fish from a kayak but the question remains, why would you want to do so?

  • @KleineHansel to paraphrase George Mallory Because they're there.

  • You know, Ive taken a kayak (which Im used to running down creeks and streams) out in a freshwater lake a few times fishing. Even though Im pretty sure theres nothing in there that would readily eat me and I can fairly easily swim to sure , it still gives me a feeling of uncertainty, sitting on a piece of rocking plastic a foot of of the water. Being in the ocean in the kayak is something entirely different. Being in the ocean and not only seeing, but ATTRACTING sharks in a kayak is... wow.

  • your mother is dead

  • lol, his rod is about to crak off.

  • being connected to the rod and a 1000lb fish is very dangerous in a kayak. hope for your families sake you have life insurance. I am sure it was an incredible moment for you, but you know your life is on the line if you go in and can't detach.

  • @ttom4601 You're life is also on the line if you wreck your car and it catches on fire and your seat belt won't unbuckle. It's why you carry at least one good knife at all times.

  • It's funny that all you who post comments in a negative fashion have no clue on what it is like to kayak fish Hawaii. All of you are dreamers and really think that Chris is going to bring a tiger shark to the surface with his feet in the water? At that time, we had no underwater camera and FYI, it was a large tiger as I shot the raw footage and was over the TS. When have you seen a kayaker bring a 10-15 foot tiger shark to the surface and pet it. Just enjoy the fight,,, it was amazing to see!

  • @yakhawaii Mate the Title Says Kayak Vs. Tiger Shark so your an idiot i saw alot of kayak i didnt see any tiger shark so maybe you can understand why people are pissed off at wasting 10 minutes of their life watching sum nobking pull in nothing, nuff said....

  • What the heck. You don't even show a shot of the shark..

  • what lbs line were you running ?

  • omg fishing for a tiger and you have your leg in the water? lol\

  • The same point of "Boat fishing for them"

just kayak fishing offers some exiteing new challengers other than a boat

  • @Squidcam yeah i love kayak fishing at 15 XD it's mad

  • @Squidcam Only problem is Kayaks roll over, boats don't...

  • @Jllucky8 actually from personal experience kayaks are EXTREMELY stable if you know how to manage them. unless a 15 foot shark comes and hit it maybe but then again that why he let it go....
