And honestly, if i cant have a camaro or corvette, a dodge truck is the damn best next thing to have. coolest thing other than a fast car. if you don't plan on doing racing, then get an automatic. I learned how to drive using a stickshift car. It rides a bit smoother but it's just more hassle. God forbid you get stuck in traffic in a stick shift. :O :(

Nah dude. My first car ever was a manual which i drove for a year or so before i got tired of it, ended up getting a bmw m3 with smg so i can just drive it in automatic mode, yet i always end up changing the gears manually anyways. Next week im picking up a 2010 camaro 2ss and there is no doubt in my mind that im going with manual, i miss it and i live in Los Angeles btw, traffic all day. Besides you cant get a muscle car and go automatic,even if its your first car, manual gives you 100% control

I'd have to opt for the V8. I've got a 99 z28 and its got 305hp. The new six cylinder cars have about the same power but alot less torque. Torque makes cars fun. Gotta have the V8.

the v6 is better on gas sure, but the 1SS automatic model only makes 3 mpg less. with a significant increase in speed and power. Not to mention the V8 just looks and sounds better.

Yup. But you'll not think that you've should bought the V8 when you already bought the V6, which is absent on many cars (their basic engines are far tamer than the top-of-the-line-ones, unlike the Camaro). The V6 of the Camaro is a lot enjoyable, but I still prefer buying the V8.

right my bad it's 800 pounds less, close enough right? The 370z has a full 25hp more than the v6, but because of it's lightweight it's faster. Now I haven't nothing bad to say about it, because as far as imports go, which I don't like, the Z cars have always had my respect, and it is a nice car, but i'd still take the v6 camaro over it.

totally man. I know what your saying but you gotta give the V6 some credit. It has a very great sound and pull for a V6. My dad thought the same as your did, he's old school, began driving in the era of muscle cars so his expectancy for a V6 was very low but when he first drove the car and hit the gas he was amazed. It's no V8 but this car can do a some justice for all the V6's out there.
