  • This is pretty cool. Bryce sounds terrible, he's way off tune.

  • @Creamefreche I agree!

  • This is amazing! Incredibly helpful tab/video, I wish more bands did this!

  • hey guys, any idea what other songs these guys have done this for, if any song at all? cheers

  • its owesome!!

  • i really appreciate you guys teaching this song...!!! i bet there's no other band doing this..you're really cool guys and i love your music

  • Thanks for posting, love this song, great sound, hoping to catch a Lifehouse concert soon.

  • It can't help me but i think its very nice that a famous Band like that make a Video about their song where they explain the chords.

  • This is awesome this is why i love lifehouse cuz they are the only band tht i hav seen teach there songs

  • @xhudaman

You obviously haven't put much effort in finding other bands doing lessons, probably wouldn't say that if you did ;)

  • playing the guitar is like a dance

  • lifehouse rocks

  • PLEASE!!!

WHO CAN TELL ME THE "STRUM"??

    OR HOW CAN I PLAY?

SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH. IM NOT AMERICAN

  • @777hyun777 c´mon man. strumming isn´t necessary to explain. you can hear what he plays and just strum with it all the way. just try to break down his pattern to a slower speed and figure it out by ear. and speeding it up to the original bpm shouldn´t be the problem then. No offense my friend, but this has a really simple strumming pattern. so good try to start up with.

  • At 1:27 on the Asus2 chord you can hear a accidental harmonic on the open B string which blends in really nicely.

  • @ossokamaun yeah it truly does! u can hear it softly in a lot of other sections during that chord progression

  • these guys are really committed to their fans, it's awesome!

  • great video.

Can anyone tell me how to properly play chords C#m7 and Bno5add4 chords, where the "do not play" string is in the middle? Thanks in advance!

  • @Jurons88

with the C#m7 9x9900: your middle finger is on the 9th fret of the 6th string and the bottom of that middle finger also lightly touches(but does not press down on) the 5th string so that it's muted

similarly, with the Bno5add4 7x9800: your index/pointer finger is on the 7th fret of the 6th string and the bottom of that finger also lightly touches(but does not press down on) the 5th string so that it's muted

    hope that helps

  • @CVonV thanks, your solution worked very well

  • @CVonV thanks a lot

  • very clear :) Great video :)

  • o my god!! they are amaising! i had never saw a band teaching his songs! , i really love this band!

  • great melody!!!!

  • great melody!!!!

  • The Record is in standard tuning this is tuned down E flat, but you play the same way.

    /moonchild89

  • Love it=) if anybody has time id appriciate them checking out the two vids i have on my channel

  • why can't they show us the bass aaaaaah

  • @dannygabbidon4 bass shouldn't be that hard to figure out.. you can basically just play the lowest note of each tab that's annotated

  • @CVonV that really doesn't work..

  • @dannygabbidon4 it does cos essentially you're just playing the root note of every chord.. but if you want to play exactly what Bryce does, watch his fingers and which frets and strings he plays.. it's in the video.. not really hard to figure out, you can do it by ear too.

  • Just went thru it on my acoustic. Thanks Jason, cool chords!

  • Thanks for posting this. Wish they would have shown the chord formations on-screen.

  • @americanindian04

check the video again.. I annotated the tabs to what I think he's playing.. please add corrections if necessary :)

  • Awesome. That makes learning this song much easier.

  • @CVonV

    Hey thx for adding the stuff in the video; it makes more sense now;

    i bought the album and got the video too and i didn't understand it;

    um just a quick question:

why does he say the chord structure is c#m, a, e, and b at the beginning?

    thx.

  • @whocares123455

because that's the chord progression that the song is based on.. ie you can play just those chords (instead of the ones in the annotations) and it will sound relatively right... however u'll be missing some of the particular bass note movements as he pointed out.. hope that explains it a bit

  • @CVonV You can always play C#m7 as 446454 Asus2 is just a normal A maj chord with the B string left open. E is as normal. Bsus4 can be played as 222452 or 224452

  • @xmaddict yeah u can.. but i reckon C#m7 will sound better open as x46600 and same with the Bsus4 x24400.. however, i was just tabbing what Jason was actually playing in the video.
