@Crosisborg I have never seen digital dash in real life. Only in some promo pictures, I suppose that model with digital dash was only exported to AU/NZ?
@Crosisborg Nice, actually.. I own also LS (i guess), I purchased lately some customs confiscated Cordia (in 1997), Its american model. 2.0. I think it is LS, but it has no digital dash, automatic and stuff.. It has no electric windows or cruise. I hope that I can fix it.
Now thats one pimpn GSL Cordia, see it just shows that you dont need a full on cordia showcar to have fun, i like it very much. Good to see it being driven and shown off, unlike some other people who are friken chiken to drive their car and being filmed.
Thank you for your comments, though car is not GSL but GSR? (original turbo), not GSL (Naturally aspirated model in Finland), Chassis is hopefully going into restaration soon (summer '07), rear arches are converted to round ones.. also original carburated turbo will be changed to fuel injected version.
In Finland you dont see Cordias a lot, there is like ~30 of them registered, and ~8 or so are turbo models..
I used to have one of these, it was the right hand drive european spec 1.6 turbo, I loved it, the best car I ever had. It used to scare the shit out of some g.t.i boys because it didnt look as quick as it was. Mine finally blew up after a year as it was old when i bought it . I kept the drivers seat to play the play station on when i dumped it. If I ever have the cash I will buy one and do it up.
i grew up with a mitsubishi cordia turbo.
this car carried me to the hospital where i was born.
we traveled a lot by car and it became like a second home for me.
and it broke my heart when it finally could not go on any further :(

I never knew there was such a car. Did you know that Cordia is the genus name for the Texas olive (which is related to the Forget Me Not)?

Cordias have a great shape to them. Classic 80's sports cars.
I have a Cordia gearbox in my Tredia electric car project - that's as close as I get. :)

Love Cordia's. I am currently building a 4G62T AB GSR up. Getting the bottom-end rebuilt soon.
