pellet guns dont shoot 495 FPS or the pellet would lob down and it wouldent be acrrut they shoot at about 800 to 1000 FPS not 495 FPS my pellet gun shoots 1100 FPS and i got it at a hobby shop. hey just a idea but next time shoot a water bottle filled with gas & a mach behind it THAT WOULD BE SWEET!!!!!

Its not the most powerful air gun in the world but it shoot's extremely accurately (don't believe me go watch Pellet Gun Fun 2) it shoots 495fps and if you're a good shot who knows about shot placement you can hunt game up to the size of a crow. I have hunted with powder burners too but I like a challenge so I choose to hunt with a gun that gives the animal the upper advantage. Plus the ammo is a hell of a lot cheaper!

i'm gonna take that as sarcasm, because i dont know of any target rifles that anyone would call powerful, or a springer that anyone would call very accurate. ti takes a special technique to make a springer accurate.

well its not i have a sprng break barrel its an older one it has a polished wood handle and steel barrel it takes a fair amount of pressure to pull the barrel back i can hit a target pretty accurate from quite a distance so it must be your pellet gun that is not i know bb guns suk they have horrible accuracy

springers cannot be as accurate as a pcp unless it is a whiscombe. its simple, because the springer has vibration and recoil. these happen before the pellet gets out the muzzle, and so if you dont hold it properly, the muzzle is in a different spot each time it fires. 97.8% of people just scoff or dont know of the springer hold. my springer will hit a 1/4 bullseye from 10 meters every time, if i do my part. if i hold it just a little tight, the group opens up. do you know the springer hold?
