  • This is the technology that should be putting crafts into orbit. Several miles of this underground in the desert, surfacing as a ramp with enough total length to get a craft up to escape velocity speeds. All the energy needed could be stored-up with photovoltaic panels on the surface above the EMAL tunnel and a large enough storage system. Green, efficient, and no wasted rockets falling back to Earth.
