this way you only block one URL , if you can still access to the site, then it must be by different URL ... if you are on this site you wanted to block , simply copy the URL from your browser address bar to the hosts file and it will block it. :)

If it isn't working you have just done something wrongly ... open the hosts file and type

1.1.1.1 - text should start where "Localhost" starts. just like in the video. But if you are using vista, you have to open notepad as administrator... you can do that by right clicking the notepad icon and selecting "Run as administrator" ... It's not nuclear science ...

This is the way to block one spectacular URL, when she was using yahoo or google or some else searching engine she probably went to other other link, You should go to the searching engine and copy the URL it gives you on site, Copy URL to host file and she can't visit this page anymore :)

Yes, If you want to undo it you just go to

hosts file again ... delete what you have entered and File --- Save , then close this window. now you can visit this site again.
