its a great video, I have an RS700 and just cant get enough of it...almost a year since I bought it and still get pissed off if I cant get out due to winds being too high or too low:) they are well made, and the layout is sensible. Would love the 800 but due to not getting a crew...let alone a crew that would be dedicated enough to learn..on a reliable basis prevents me from buying one.
Glad u liked the vid. Can't answer many of your questions though as I make the Predator VX360 vid equipment that took the on board footage. The boys to ask are LDC Racing in the UK. The crew in the vid works for them.
I do know the RS800 is a real grin factor and having done 4 seasons on an RS400 I can tell you that the RS boats are well thought out and well worth the money.
The RS website has a list of worldwide distributors and there is definately a Eurocup Regatta held every year.

carcking vid!
gotta love those rs boats.
not a lot of them on youtube though...
why are the racks not extended further? Weight correction? How far can they be extended?
I might get one of these to replace my penny I14 which is slowly falling apart. any regattas outside of the uk?
why isn't there a off-the-boom-main-sheet? Doesn't it get in the way? No gnav either? how much space is there under that boom?
