@Pinkpunk528 because this was the first time they ever performed this song (and at first, it was going to be the only time), and that venue is known for it's clear acoustics. it's old, so people used to sing and play in there regularly with no microphones or amps (before they existed). you could hear her loud and clear even in the balcony with no mic. it was amazing.
