ANYTHING is playable on Windows 7, you just have to know what you're doing to make some of the older games work. Changing the compatibility to a older version of windows like '98 or '95 is probably the easiest way and works for most games.

One thing i miss in the series is the dificulty, i don`t think they did a good thing making the bosses easier and rescuing th hostage easy, I like games that dare me! They should have made 2 modes, the hard mode and the easy mode, to don`t make the game go so boring in a little space of time, but thank god there is the director`s cut that bring some of the charm of House Of The Dead, like mutants running like hell to get you.

This is like a tarantino fanboy vid. The story was awesome and I greatly enjoyed it, but you didn't mention any of the negatives about this game in your review.

1. Frame rate is ridiculous and gets slower than a stutter.

2. The "grindhouse" effect makes the colors so bland you can't differentiate bad guys from a tree.

3. It's so dark that #2 doesn't even fucking matter. I had to turn the brightness and contrast up so much it looked like I wanted burn in.

@noobkiller2241 If you want the best, get a used copy of Resident Evil 4 (for the Wii). No kidding, and not just my own opinion. This is THE definitive rail/light-gun shooter ever made. You will love it and it is the best. It was Game of the Year in it's year. Check any and all game review sites and you'll see that this is THE game! Have fun!!! Side Note: It's kinda fun to rent and watch the movie (Resident Evil) before playing. Good flick and gets you in the mood. :-)

I've heard it referred to as several different genres. I'd say u r right though. You are somewhat on a pre-determined path, but u r free to roam in each "section". Either way...re: NOOBKILLER2241's list; he should try RE4 on the Wii. It is rare that it disappoints. ResEvil:DarkChron is good too, but RE4 is THE classic not to be missed. U can get it used for $15 and u'll play it for months too.

i just got this game beat it in like a day then beat directors cut in a day too. i love this game, and i like how that black dude says mother fucker in every sentence he says but two! I liked how they made it into a comedy game, and even had mini games and a directors cut. really good game. oh yeah and that guns chick was funny as hell too, she was probably my favarite. REALLY GOOD GAME!

I have PS3! I bought wii just for this game and dead space extraction and they are both kick ass!! Overkill was a nice twist they turned this into a Comedy horror,fits well much better that the past house of the dead series! 10 out 10 hope they gonna make a sequel for this :)

Basically, in order to talk to anyone online (I believe you can still play with them, unlike the DS where you can't play with anyone unless you have their friend code), you have to have a friend code. And, PS3 I believe is also free, if you do have one of those >.>. I dunno, I'm more of a Single Player person myself, but i do remember hearing about those.
