At the aquarium in Long Beach, California they state they do not have any dolphins or whales because they could never provide large enough enclosures. They must swim miles per day in order to be healthy. That tank is wayyyyyyy too small. That would be like locking us in a tiny closet for the rest of our lives.

There is a petition to the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) who are responsible for that tank that would like 1500 signatures. I would like to add 2 zeros to that number. Please sign and spread!

I never thought I'd say this, but I hope they die. I would rather have death than live in an area about 3 times as long as my body. At least the SeaWorld dolphins get mental stimulation, play time, a lot more space, etc.

@Phoenixfalconer SeaWorld's killer whales still have a 30 percent higher death rate than the most endangered species of killer whales in the ocean. Also, SeaWorld is linked to this, and many other dolphinariums that support the Taiji slaughter and inhumane conditions such as these.

Dolphins are far too intelligent and social to be housed in a cement tank. This is dead wrong. Please boycott all places like Sea World, Miami Seaquarium, Marineland, etc. Dont support the exploitation of wildlife in these circus-like shows.

Dolphins are such magnificent creatures that have tried to reach out to us so many times. They are known to push stranded fishermen boats (with fishermen inside) back to the shore. They have saved humans from sharks. And this is how they are repaid?? Sickening.
