You can actually avoid that 1st zombie if you close the door :3

It must be some weird compyootle gleetch but the zombie will just keep walking into the door. After you get the vase, he'll somehow be inside that room but will only focus on trying to get out unless you go up to him and fight him

fun fact: if you try to shoot him from the other side of the falling floor, he can walk across it because he's "special like that" :D

@itzbloodywerse When I played this game, for some reason the music wouldn't play, but only the sound effects. Believe me, that was way much scarier than with the music. It turns out that the sound problem was in fact a good thing.

@VoyagesInEnglish It is hard to do with some keyboard though. I mean double-tap is hard to do since the old dos games were developed using slow CPU, thus the interval becomes too short nowadays. You can try a dosbox, it just works for me. --- I played AITD3 on win98, and there's a place you must run to jump across...it costed me several days.

I remember when i played this part you can actually go behind the tall dresser where you " have to fight" the zombie and he will walk past you, then into the next room, then back out and through the door, he continues to do this, so you can maybe outrun him, or it gives you time to set up.
