its quite interesting that alot of videos tend to come from americans who are quite territorial about their religion. here in the uk faith and religion isnt really a huge thing for the majority - pagans tend to be laughed at rather than 'shunned'. cant we let ignorant people be and focus on our paths? introspect and reflect it helps you find your true self.

My experience with Wiccans has always been that they tend to be social outcasts who choose Wicca not as a true path of enlightenment, but because they have a common ground with other outcasts and weridos. Wiccans are very different from other true "Pagans" who practice the religion of their ancestors. Wiccans have no ancestoral connection to the past. It is just a New Age mishmash focussed on the more feminine aspects of ancient religions.
Lets start here, your co-workers treat you good because they believe you have lost your way and they have petty on you! Do not mistaken acceptance for petty! Christianity is a Catch-22! They can not believe thus they can not understand!

I've studied history for a long time, and the Victims we're Jews, Muslims, Prodestants and the typical village midwife/crone. I never really found accounts of Pagans during the inquesition.

The store where I worked was picketed by Fundies because the Owner was a Hindu who had Shiva as a patron. They would come into the store and harass us and preach to us because she was a Hindu.
great video, I think it's ridiculous the amount of discrimination going around everywhere. I'm evidently wiccan lol but my family are all different branches of christians so i'm very respectful to them i just make it clear that i don't believe what they do and ask them not to push it on me. I agree people "slip up" for better words, on what they believe and think they know about other groups of people. But that is completely different from knowingly firing someone over religion or anything else

Fundamentalist Christians in the USA are legally bound to not abuse you, or anyone else, while at work: it is against the terms of employment of almost all employers' code of employee behavior. I suspect your co-workers would cheerfully abuse you if they believed it would not adversely impact their employment.
As for Wiccans being distrustful and critical of Christians, there is good cause for them to be so: the beast is still clawed and fanged, but the state curbs them.

Officially Wicca has been around since the 1950's, but yeah, movies both helped and hurt us at the same time.
Don't believe me? Look up Gerald Gardner and his crew, he first popularized the religion in England then eventually made it's way to the US.

According to my college history class it's actually quite likely SOME of the victims were real witches: Pagan clergy, tribal leaders and astrologers.
Tarot cards, afterall, were invented in the middle ages.

yes some possibly in the northern countrys probably not england and the definition of what a witch is changes with time so some of them probably did fit the description but it wasnt an active move toward pagans it was an old superstition that the church suddenly decided to take seriously

Had you bothered to watch the entire video, or any of my others, ho many teenagers do you know have been working int the hotel industry for 7 years? I shot this video out of my 2BR apartment which I share with my fiance on my only day off from work that week.
I also have Christian friends and family, a few of them actually agree with me about the followers being jerks.

Nice Job,I guess people act like this on the Internet because you can keep you're "true" Identity hidden, ie using the age on your profile to make you "older" so you can basicly make people think youre more mature. I have nothing against Christianity in general, it's the fallowers that abuse it and they're rights to hate, ie using freedom of speech and the Bible when insulting homosexuals. That I cant stand. I try not to get angry because my WHOLE family is Christian as well as 97% of my friends
