  • jeff beck es el mejor

  • Hey man let me take my electronic piano keyboard out and strap it accross my neck coolll look at me.... okay man let me just play some whining tones over it with my guitar in my plastic pants.. yeah man we rockkkkkkkk. Miami vice pink pants yeah!

  • @WegrennerX:;

    Huh?!

I'm betting you could not BEGIN to follow in Jan's career path. Where did you get YOUR musical education? What's the most complex meter you've played in?

Have you ever even TOUCHED a keyboard?

Do not confuse your ability to type with intelligence.

  • @MrNicespaces

Keep on fighting your internet demons my friend.... whaaahhhh whaaa!!!

  • Great playing, awesome tone! JB rules!

  • The best thing about beck is, he uses his fingers, which is ten times as hard to get the sound he is getting than using a pick would be, a pick is so easy, it gets the sound easy for U, getting that tone outta the fingers is just hard fcking work, god this man is magic

  • Jeff beck didn't bring anything new to the table in the music world. Just a faild coat tail rider that should have given up the guitar when Hendrix rolled into town and pwned all of them :P

  • @chill66blog ha ha ha shut the fck up U nutter, U are just starting out I can tell, so I will humor U, as no musician would say some thing like that, shame U can not appreciate this man has won MBEs in music, more than one, what did Hendrix win, or well enough said, just cause U can play guitar great like hendrix, that don't mean shit, beck has everything else, which makes up one great man, go fck yourself for being a dum dum

  • @UKToneKing MBE's? bro he sold out big time. eerm, there's a documentary telling it how it is(or was) back in the 60's.. coming from Becks mouth himself, LOL, keep writing trash you pop rock boy :P

  • @UKToneKing Oh my.. Sweet child of mine? LOL.. even bringing that into this discussion... PWNED! naah i'd rather go listen to a canned heat boogie. for me his solo's lack everything, i find he just fucks around and tries to sound cool with the little whammy bar while playing a a few licks, that don't spin my wheels. Keep listning to sweet child of mine m8 there another poser band, great for you :-)

You are a fool. Who puts a rolling stone magazine quote in a musician discussion!! that list is garbage, but i like who is number 1 on the list :P dont u agree? hahahaha.

  • @chill66blog you think jeff beck is the best guitarist of all time so there is no getting through to douches like you lol. This just shows your ignorance End of. goodbye. I pitty the fool.

  • @chill66blog you just typed yourself a message calling yourself a douche ?

  • @RisingSon011 was meant to be Uktoneking. Obviously.

  • Comment removed

  • @UKToneKing He wrote one of those things in a day or 2, i can't exactly remember which, but hey, it aint my fave anyway, beautiful, but my fave would probably be machine gun or something bluesy, cause he just goes off on them man

  • @UKToneKing but yeah pretty hard to compare anyone, let alone a jazzy player to him. just saying.

  • @UKToneKing I dunno aye i have a diffrent take on what hendrix was/is. I dont simply call him a rock guitarist, just remmeber, speed does not make you a good guitarist. Another great thing about jimi is that he was an innovator, he didnt just wanna be a sheep and just be another blues(?) or whatever guitarist of the time, which is looked upon

  • @chill66blog Greg Kochs picked on is a great one, but I have watched over 100s of his videos, he is fenders head man for selling guitars, the guy is amazing, he can do that chet atkins thing, led zeplin, U name it, he can do it, he does a funny 1 with paul pigat, the guy is top of my tree of great players, he could have been much more in the rock world, but he states he never wanted to , love is selling guitars, & he gets payed just as much, he does gigs for promotional reasons, amazing player

  • @UKToneKing I guess he was a big fan of Roy Buchannan maybe?

  • @UKToneKing Oh my wrong again, Hendrix's 1st album boomed into the top 10 albums of 67'.. right behind Sgt peppers (the beatles)if i remember correctly, song writing skills, bro... thats part of the reason he is so great! here's another littl thing for ya, Beck takes claptons position in the shitty pop / RnB band the yardbirds, you see, he wasn't up to the standard of Peter Green Or eric clapton so he didn't really compare... Alot of people will agree with me on that one. Sorry mate.

  • @UKToneKing you listen to shit poppy, sell out, wannabe 'flashy' guitar player lololo, most of the good artist drop off and then boom Beck gets some fame :-) nice one jeffy :-) still you spewed bullshit out your keyboard without getting facts. I rather enjoy Alvin lee's work over bishop even though it's fast as lightning he got some soul to his blues/rock

  • @UKToneKing here's a piece for ya, Are You Experienced has remained a critical and commercial success since its release. The album reached number 2 in the United Kingdom[1], behind The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. PWNED MUCH? maybe you do ned to google before you spew? lolololo

  • Comment removed

  • @UKToneKing Sure bout that? nah not a troll just fuccking hate Beck lmao, did some reading up on him, not overly great reading. Im right your wrong, you said hendrix 1st albums didnt make it? bahahaha pwned? and you are wrong on many of your little points haha, go watch. from your woofter guitarist /watch?v=EVBf-N4smZ4

  • @UKToneKing Pwned ;-) it's ok, you dont want to admit you were wrong, BEck sucks, thats that, i watched Stevie ray vaughan pwn him on stage lololo beck looked a little out of his league hehehe, that was the 80's though, saw something with beck palying real 80's disco pop wiht a few guitar licks, sounded like shit! what a sell out!

  • @UKToneKing His solos sound like absolute garbage as well, leave the whammy bar alone J.B you aint a hendrix & never will

  • Musicians from Earth are the best. I like JB, I like Allan Holdsworth, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, as well as EVH, but they're all in different places in different genres.. None of them are best - or better than the other, but each of them are individual. Musicianship is not an olympic event. Is Van Gogh better than Rembrandt? Of course not. There is no one better than the other, only different and unique. Now grow up!

  • @playguitarlars I totally agree with you, but young kids always think in terms of best. As you get older you get a more balanced view of things and stop thing in terms of black and white.

  • @63kevinoneill some of theses insane kid's seem to think hendrix was the only good guitar player, forgetting hendrix's first 2 albums were a flop, were as dire straits first album made millions, but the point is, a great guitar player is not always best, an all rounder is were it's att, and beck is just that, also who knows what hendrix would have become, and if he had been alive, maybe he would have surprised us

  • He played two hand and whammy style long before Ed Van Halen did. JB is Master Class.

  • When I watch Jan Hammer, I think wow I can do this! (no offense to jan hammer) where do I buy of those keyboard do-hicky's

  • Manik- NO it's not a matter of opinion, even in an increasingly relativist world. All musicians are not created equal, some are just incredible, and Jeff Beck is one of them. Some people might think Britney Spears is a better singer than Ella Fitzgerald. Doesn't make it so. One, CAN say, however, that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's different.

  • man that balding dude can really rock out with his keyboard

  • why does this and sting's " demolition man " sound similar?

  • cool I am new here and i can be shy and nasty too

  • I read a statement made by Jeff Beck recently that he is envious of modern bands like Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Adele.

Was he drunk? His music is 10 trillion times better than any of those shitty acts.

Jeff Beck comparing himself to Radiohead is like Ferrari comparing their 458 Italia to a Yugo.

  • mmh i am rich now

  • That's Jan Hammer. The bad ass synth player from Miami Vice fame. Also the keyboardist for John Mclaughlins Mahavishu Orchestra.

  • @jaharris1001 my sentiments exactly!

  • my reaction? how could there be ANY dislikes ?????? This is classic guitar at its finest !! Beck is a master of the stratocaster !!

  • this shhould be on a playlist

  • cool If u're looking for a hot cutey, don't look further, Im here 4u

  • Jan Hammer is scary looking. Serial Killer scary.

  • @ApeLikeCreature He is kinda scary looking...this song just isnt the same on some of the other vids of this song with out him though....besides being scary looking he is scary GREAT on the boards....;-)

  • wow, before there was a vh or a sv , there was jeff beck...shit!

  • 蒼き風。この邦題好きだったよ。

    ヤン・ハマーといっしょのベックが一番好きだった。

  • Jeff Beck is like the Fantasia of Blues. Not a word spoken.

  • Blue Wind My favorite Jeff Beck>>> Now were rockin'

  • phantastik Player!!!

  • A murder tune! 5 tars and I'm dead!

  • ist für mich einer der grössten!!!

  • @waltero1958 alter net EINER der grössten Jeff Beck ist DER grösste. (meine meinung) Der typ ist genial XD

  • I am a big fan of Jeff Beck but this is more Airwolf soundtrack than classic Jeff Beck. Only my opinion - many others love it. Some good blues inspired rock guitarists around just now but many sound formulaic to me. Beck seems to pluck it out of thin air. And it is usually inspired.

  • Simon Phillip's roadies called this drum set the SS Phillips because it was so big and hard to move.

  • This one Go's out to a really good Friend of Mine Mr John Kelley Brown. He turned me on to the true meaning of Fusion. TYVM One of my Fav Dudes ....Peace JJ

  • excellent!

  • jeff must have fingers like leather

  • @hetapenteam Actually in an interview in the 70's Beck said his skin was really thin, which is why he likes the strat. He can have the strings really close to the fret board and with wouldn't tear up his fingers.

  • @elgrovez13: I thought it had to do with the width of the neck. Gibsons (except ES335 and the like) are wide while Fenders are narrow. That's why I have 3 Strats. Wore out the first one, after 40 years it needs new frets.

  • youngsters out there...this is how its done....

  • @cameronrr1 NO SHIT!! SIR. NO SHIT

  • This is as rowdy and loose as hell and I love it. Jeff has been fortunate enough to play with some top drawer keyboard players over the years: Jan, Max Middleton and Tony Hymas to name but three. Hard to say who is the best because they've all added a massive amount to his music, both performance composition wise.

  • the slapping on 3:34 is crazy!!!

  • You gotta love Beck and Hammer together. I had this album waaaaay back in the day, in quadraphonic no less. It was groovy!

  • that keyboad is badass i want one lol

  • The Master. Been a fan since Blow by Blow album.. Killer ax man. A Treasure.

  • this is a song about when i fart

  • HONKY! MR MIKE SPENCE 1964 HAS A SORE ON HIS C#NT..........TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

  • Hey Hong do-do..You don't know chit about fusion do you?

In 1972 I was listening to Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Journey, Camel and Beck just to name a few of the first musicians that left your BANAL world of brainless garbage like the Bee Gees!

  • SIMON PHILLIPS O.o.O.o.O.o.O.o.O

  • HONKY! JEFF "OH" HECK!!! IS!!! TERRIBLE!!!

  • To all you people saying who's better, who sux & who's best, it's all a matter of opinion, they are all awesome in their own rite.......IMHO!! LOL

  • @ManikMekanik I wouldn't say it's all opinion, but that's definitely true that the best is always a matter of opinion. You're always going to have several in the running and picking one is a matter of taste and styles. I think it would be dismissive to say calling Beck great is a matter of opinion, I think he's got a resume the demands that moniker.

  • @ManikMekanik Eugenics Faggot!!!!

  • @EVMC3577 name calling only allows your intelligence (or lack thereof) to shine through

  • Jeff beck is a totally bullshit. Jennifer Batten is way better than him. Now I know why Steve Vai is so bad...

  • @chri095k: I would NEVER say that there aren't some amazing guitarists who use plectrums, but, I think, the BEST guitarists play fingerstyle. There are so many more options available. Does it sound to you as though Mr. Beck needs a pick on ANY performance you've ever heard him give? Some of the contrapuntal stuff he does using ALL his right hand fingers, much like a classical guitarist, are utterly awe-inspiring. But that could be said for everything he does!

  • Jan, tommy and jeff, dont get any better then this.

  • why the heck is he using he's fingers to play and not a plectar??:D

  • @chri095k good observation, other players will do that kind of stuff just to be different, Jeff Beck was already a unique player, so he does it to get new sounds and to find new ways of play the guitar and bring on wonderful material, like he does in all of his records,

  • @vspa22

    THank you ! :D

  • @vspa22

and i wonder how the heck he can do that with out a plectar at 4:28

  • @chri095k this is tapping

  • Wrong video title dude

  • I think Jeff got so good because he was already playing a guitar in his head long before he ever held one in his hands. When he was young he improvised playing a guitar by concocting some crazy thing. He did his best at making that crude, primitive instrument make some sort of sound and that is how he got his start. Oh by the way did u catch Beck on the The Tonight Show? He's still rippin it better than ever. Incredible man and guitarist!

  • Beck's just way out there...agree or disagree with him, he does what he wants to do with that guitar. Very, very few can do that.

  • hmmm so jeff beck sucked even way back then ?

  • Jeff Beck gets down like this and he suffered from stage fright his whole career. Go figure.

  • amazing, yes, the coolest of all. should walk around more of those cool men, guys. regards, doris

  • OMG!!!!

  • 5:43 fail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • These guys realy play it like it should be done!

  • F***ing Classic......!

  • I bought this cassette when i was 15 back in 75 and all my friends wanted to know why I would listen to music with no singer on it. This is why!

  • @Driver8852 I was 20 back then and guys asked me the same question. I just laughed. They had no vision.

  • @Driver8852 What do you mean by 'no singer?' You don't need a voice to sing. The guitar is Jeff's 'voice'...

  • @Driver8852 Hmm, all your friends must have been music sheeple. Aren't you glad you didn't follow the herd??

  • lkao

  • lmao

  • music to my ear and soul

  • I kinda like it, to 84 ppls

  • Beck / Hammer ... sweet!!!

  • My guitar hero!

  • Don't forget to include Steve Vai in your collection of great guitarists.

  • xD this is so lame

  • dude...he uses the guitar for a percusion style sound there. thats awesome. so is the bass part.

  • dude...he uses the guitar for a percusion style sound there. thats awesome.

  • definitly two world class guitar and one drum maniac on stage! thx for posting

  • I love Steve "Vio". Lol. Vio ?

  • Dream Theater, Beck, Vai, Satriani, and Eric Johnson

    Bad generic music

for geeks that can't comprehend real intense music or real music composition

    Sorry

Wow listen to all the generic notes,

    > All very talented guitarist and always the most boring listening experience.

I'm sure though, whoever listens to this dribble doesn't like the music I listen to.

I'm 42 with a huge music collection, started collecting at 13

  • @divineprocess im confused... i mean id let dream theater slide.. maybe even satch a little... but what kinda music do you like?? and if i've never heard of it before thank you for sharing ... you'd be surprised i might actually like it

  • @divineprocess Right, because half those bands are less generic than Jeff Beck.

  • @divineprocess What has any of this to do with Jeff Beck?

He's an amazing guitarist period. If you don't like his music, it's simple don't listen to it. Who you do like is of little or no importance. It's subjective and a lot of the bands you've mentioned are complete shite.

  • @divineprocess wow your cool can I be your friend

  • @divineprocess well I'll be damned .

  • @divineprocess You seem to try to find reasons to not like music instead of reasons to like it. What a mistake! On the other hand, I let myself be pretty open minded about music. Let's talk: what do you like to listen to?

  • @88fatlouis: The stuff Jeff Beck does FINGERSTYLE is so much more extreme than anything Satriani or Vai have ever attempted! He most certainly can tune a guitar. They DO go out in live situations and NOBODY can escape that fact, especially if they use the tremelo arm. Have you ever heard the contrapuntal stuff Beck includes on every record he makes, in varying amounts? That music cannot be performed while using a flatpick, which Vai, Satriani, and Eric Johnson are constrained by!

  • OMG

  • halfway thru i just feel like i should be playing road rash on my sega genisis or somethine....

  • @someghost121...sorry....JB is WAY more in every way....

  • Reading comments on this board reminds me of the joke (truth?)

How many guitar players does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

ANSWER...10... ONE TO SCREW IT IN AND 9 OTHERS STANDING AROUND SAYING "I CAN DO THAT" OR "I KNOW A GUITAR PLAYER THAT CAN SCREW THAT BULB IN BETTER".

So many here just don't "get it".
