Teaching in Korea: Why You SHOULD Choose a Hagwon

Three sick days for me, too. When I was sick as a dog my boss harassed me until I came into work. It was only when I had to run from the class to vomit that they realized I "MIGHT" not just be "exaggerating because I was a westerner."

After the horrible time I had in my hagwon being treated like a tool by my male boss (YOU ARE A WOMAN AND YOU NEVER SPEAK OR QUESTION ME IF I AM SPEAKING - quote) I will never, ever go back to another hagwon ever again. Hagwons are just..... not safe. At all.

Even the "good" hagwons are managed greedily or like crap. Really, at best you can say only 60 percent of hagwons are bad.
