I honestly believe that when Carlton Pearson recorded this song, that he had the annointing of the Holy Spirit on him because I can feel God's presence everytime I play this song. May God continue to bless him and his family, and guide him everyday.

Best Azusa cd besides Azusa 4... after he made his last one is when his views changed.... Bishop Pearson was a General in the Army of the Lord.... and good soldiers dont leave their fellow men behind...we cant physically "go get him"...but we can go get him by way of praying for him like he is our own relative....Indeed he was 1 of OUR OWN! God, family and friends didnt give up on us so we have to at least "do our part" for Bishop Pearson & his family. The devil think he won but God laughs last.

I just get soooooo tired of people acting as though they have no sin of their own (and acting all holier than Thou - self righteous). The world would be a LOT better off without those type of people. Thank you, Carlton Pearson for having the courage to stand up for truth. And, for being inclusive rather than exclusive. Jesus never looked down on anybody. And, he actually hung out with the outcasts of his' day. He didn't hang out with the closed minded religious people of his' day. But, chose instead to hand out with the outcasts. Christianity IS the gospel of EX-clusion. They make gays feel excluded. They make women feel excluded in many ways, too (in that they can't participate in a LOT of churches - can't preach, etc.). Anybody who has a differing opinion is not well accepted in the Church, either. They are frowned upon and made to feel like they are not welcome (because of their differing views or opinions). I think Rev. Carlton Pearson is AWESOME. I am gay. And, I love him for his standing up and doing what is right.

In fact, the book of Romans (just a few verses down from the verse that anti-gay people use to condemn gays) tells us that "with the SAME judgement that you use towards others, YOU will be judged, yourself." The words "sheol" and "hades" mean the "common grave of mankind." Gehenna was the garbage dump outside the gates of Jerusalem (which burned the CARCASSES of criminals and outcasts and those who were considered to be "sinners"). That's where they got the idea that people burn in HELL (Gehenna). But, it is NOT a place of eternal punishment.

Carlton Pearson did not go astray. The only thing he is guilty of is following God, and actually teaching as our Lord and Savior taught. He sacrificed everything in order to do fulfill his true calling. He now is preaching and teaching about God's undenying love for all. I looked up to him then and now more than ever. He is taking a path that many like him don't take. That really tells me that he does what he does not for the for the fame or money (like so many others) but for God!!!!!!!!
