i think a good movie idea would be to have it like a setup.... be like the company building the enrichment center and testing going on under normal circumstances and then just have like some huge event happen, like a group called black messa take over the world or something then the center is shut down, then the screen goes black and you hear glados talking and you see a first person view of someone waking up....leading into the events of the game... not well thought out be you get the idea..

@Serelenntidude He wasn't a test subject. He was a schizophrenic scientist that worked in the labs, who was very very adamant about -not- making GLaDOS. There's an online comic you can read to find out more about him.

actually, if there was an actual Portal movie, I wouldn't want GLaDOS in it. That makes it too game like. I think a completely silent (except for sound effects and y'know other stuff) movie would be interesting. A change.

@fdythunre Well if I where to make a movie it would be to build upon the "Ratman" story because it would not only be interesting to most fans of the Portal franchise, but would give me control over small aspects of the plot to make it more appealing to the audience.

@ScottFeuerhelmFilm i think there will be more information about rattman in portal 3, which will be released before half life 3 comes out. But it would be cool to see the story of the portal comic which tells the story between portal 1 and 2 in a movie. (and please make a tutorial about it!!!!)
